Crows are soooo clever, funny, a pain in the ass, delightful, beautiful, social, hiper active, enlightened and sweet....I had my corvus splendens from 6 weeks old to about 7 months....then she dissapeared sadly...im totally heartbroken as I think something must have happened to her....she would have come home at least once a day if everything was ok....I miss you Curtis the crow....
Hope things are still well with him. He shows joy in his life as well as his intelligence. I bet it's a bit of a challenge to keep ahead of him and his antics. I found a similar crow once, years ago. He was walking behind a business I was taking part in - his wings were clipped so was an emancipated individual but had been a pet and I would take him to work with me on night shift and he would grab stuff off my set up table and I'd have to chase him to retrieve various items like my pencils. Wonderful folks these black mischief makers.
Peach : "The darn thing doesn't fit in the crack." You are funny Dennis. l loved every minute of this too. l love all my crows and ravens in my garden even more. Thank you for opening up a whole new world.
Eye LOVE your crow baby boy so much 🥰💋😘😘 What a CUTEST snuggle playful animated loverboy!! I used to talk to wild crows growing up and they loved chatting back having long caw exchanges together. I got teased for talking to crows not humans. Thanks for showing me how LOVABLE they truly are!! Smooch
Your bird seems so clever. Has a bowl of clean water and some toys. He or she has been so busy at the kitchen and in the morning. I like your bird. It is a good bird.
This is one seriously smart and happy Little Crow, I must admit, l kinda have my two favorites... Little Crow and Little Peach, l love when Little Crow says "Peeeachooo".
Total enjoyment watching your sweet Peach play, explore, cache his food treasures. The music delightful and captions genius. Love this vid from beginning to finale. Towards the end where Peanut is sunbathing you can really see his adorable face in the sunlight. What a treat! What an absolute cutie! The still shots showing his mouth open while sunning are priceless!
One of the cutest bird videos I've ever seen. The look of innocence and PURE BLISS on Peach's sweet little face at the end when he's sunbathing...OMG, it doesn't get any cuter than that! The funky, cheeky reggae music accompaniment is so cute also - "so very Peach!" I've started watching your videos via the UA-cam app on my tv...the close up of Peach...priceless! 🐦❤
I agree. No doubt the earth would be a lot healthier as a result. Hardly a day goes by when I don't hear about another species on the brink of extinction. Humans turned out to be a terrible choice for managers.
i LOVE the way you narrate the words of your pets. very appropriate. i can imagine they are saying exactly what youre thinking they are. !! i do the same with my pets...)
Wow Peach is so funny and cute! At the end when he's sunbathing it's like he goes into a trance, it's amazing. I've seen the crows in my neighbourhood sunbathing in the morning to warm up after the cold night, they sit on the highest streetlamps and trees and stare at the sun in a trance too! It's interesting seeing him caching the treats like he would in the wild then changing his mind. When I started feeding the crows and magpies in my neighbourhood it was funny to see them caching all the peanuts and cheese I put out for them. Seeing them as wild birds running and jumping around all happy with cheese in their mouth was so funny. Then the next thing I saw was they would hide all their treats all over the neighbourhood mostly on the rooftops under bits of moss! I can see sometimes in the morning out my window before I've fed them, they might walk around the rooftops looking under bits of moss to see if there are any hidden bits of cheese they missed! Greetings for Peach from the UK. 😊✌
Crows are very smart. Every day I feed a crow while I'm watering this little tree in our back yard. The crow got angry at our gardener when he started to trim the tree. Maybe the crow associated the tree with being fed?
You are right! They really are very smart! And seem to have a pretty good common sense, too :-) We have never tried to potty train Peach as we didn't think you can potty train a bird, but we are noticing that he is avoiding pooping on us. He always leaves to take a poop and then comes back to our hand or a knee for some more petting! Thanks for watching our videos!
Mother crow used to bring babies over to feed. Now they've grown up. Formed their own companionships and are bringing their friends over to the secured spot. I feel like I'm a part of their extended family. They are hilarious to watch. Any crow that is not a part of our collective they chase away and dive-bomb, if they attempt feeding. My crows protect me, as a part of their territory, and I feel honoured.
awh....I have wanted a pet crow since I was a Lil girl, always the look out for one, I have been a vet tech for 18yrs now and it is my mission to find one to spoil and love before my time here is up!! Peach makes my heart happy!!! ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching! Yes, they really are amazing birds! We rescued Peach when he was a young hatchling laying on the ground. We raised him and tried to release him to the wild, but it turned out he had become imprinted on us, so we had to bring him back from the wildlife rehab and keep him. That was almost two years ago and he has brought us so much joy since! You might get a chance to rescue a crow chick that is in similar situation in spring when they have their nesting season. Where do you live?
Dudes, I just realized, mr. Crow was going in the water bowl and leaving - only to come back... he's shaking the water out of his feathers in another location as to not having dirty water in the bowl. That's a clear example that shows they are capable of abstraction, incredible.
They sure are amazing birds! We have two of them now as we rescued another one (Cherry) with a broken wing. He is currently recovering from his wing pinning surgery. He gets along great with Peach!
How odd that I just cleaned up after two parrots playing with me in my bedroom. I went to get my peaches who is a blue front to play with her or him (two others are African Greys Duffy and Silver (who laid any egg). And my idea of fun is to watch your peach play in your kitchen. I may be crazy! Off to head rubs!!!! talons need cutting ouch!!!!!
Funny crow.. He is tame, no fear, usually all crows are very scared from humans.. I always feed em bread, they are around my roof in the morning, they crow me awake and then i crow back :) i feed em bread i know there is no food around for them, only insekts and thats too few.. They love bread all animals like bread.. Bread is very good food, for humans too..
I recently was gifted a crow through a rescue via an aviary vet. He has been with the same lady for 17 yrs until she passed. He is very interesting and I have taught him a few new things .. but still learning about him as no one knows his history. Any advice given would be great!
oh my gosh peach is so squishable. is peach a rescue . my little girl talks to crows and ravens all the time she has quite a following in their world lol. i love this bird. thx for posting. does peach ever go outside and fly
We rescued Peach three years ago when he had fallen out of the nest as a very young nestling. We raised him for a while and then took him to the Wildlife Rehab to be released. However, it turned out that he had become imprinted on us as he did not fit in with other crows and we had to bring him back two weeks later. Peach can fly very well. He has an aviary outside. Peach also has a few companions now.
That must be like having a cat with wings. I had a cat once that would call me and make sure I was looking before she started throwing stuff off the shelf. I can't imagine having a mischievous bird running around loose.
do you guys work? how does he fit into a busy schedule? I've been interested in getting one but have no idea how needy they really are when they inprint.
Because of the pets, we have tried to arrange our schedules in such a way that most of the time at least one of us is at home. When we are at home, Peach is out of his cage usually. They are emotionally very needy birds! Peach always wants at least one of the flock members (even the dog or the cat would do!) to be at sight all the time :-) Otherwise he would start cawing!
I can watch Peach all day long.......I have been feeding my wild crows and Ravens and they will land when I feed them.... but I can't get too close to them .....any thoughts on what I can do.......thanks so much
So glad to hear you are enjoying our Peach videos! Yes, we have also tried to feed wild crows but they are very sceptical and rightfully so. They never come to our yard. Kullike often takes some food with her for crows when she goes for her bike rides with Kassie. Good things to give crows are any unsalted nuts, cooked rice, corn kernels, whole grain bread a little, any unprocessed meat. They also seem to like apples. If you get them to come to your yard, it will be easier to earn their trust! Good luck and keep us posted!
Wild crows and magpies sometimes fly over our yard to take a peak at Peach and sometimes land on our garage roof but as soon as we try to feed them, they take off.
I go thru 50lbs of peanuts in the shell a month......I love watching them use beak and feet to open the shell.....will try apples and rice....I have the call down pretty well, than they call back and come to my yard.....some will land within 15 ft.of me but I can't get closer....they know my wife and I and call to us ....almost funny
Such a smart bird. You can really tell its thinking.
Yes, his reasoning seems quite sophisticated! Thanks for watching!
Yes, Peach is quite young. He will be 2 years in late May.
Peach is amazing!! I've never known of anyone else with a pet crow!! Awesome!!!
Yes, Peach is a very sweet little character! Thanks for watching!
It's too bad we can't give crows arms (with hands). I'm sure they would appreciate it.
Who know what they would do then! :-) They sure are fascinating creatures! Thanks for watching!
My favorite is when you talk for peaches. Your music choices are great.
Glad you think so, Jodi!
Good job Peach! Hide those treats lol Cheerful little bird❤
"Peach come here, Peachuu, Peach, Peach, Peachuu, come here." 🤗 I hear Little Pie yelling in my head.

I want one. They're everywhere here.
I am glad to hear that you are feeding crows! They sure are such adorable, intelligent creatures! Thanks for watching our videos, Freddy!
indeed funny birds, smart as well.. Many crows here, i saw they only eat insekts, but no such around.. i decided to feed em bread..
I also feed bread and sometimes fruit to a family of crows living near me.
I recently was gifted a crow through a rescue via an aviary vet. He has been with the same lady for 17 yrs until she passed. He is very interesting and I have taught him a few new things .. but still learning about him as no one knows his history. Any advice given would be great!
