ive always thought about thomas’ life after they got to the safe haven. he lost everyone he cared about most. first chuck. newt. and teresa. those three meant the world to him. thomas wasn’t ready to lose newt. he wasn’t ready to lose teresa. he told himself he had newt, as long as he had newt, he was okay. like after teresa betrayed them thomas had to except life without her. he had newt to comfort him. he was around newt the most, his best friend. and after he dies he realized he, himself was the cure. imagine knowing every day of your life you could’ve saved your bestfriend. because that, is what thomas went though.
Newt's letter is the best letter I could ever imagine, the friendship between them is something els that cannot be described in word. I don’t know how much time I had cried watching those scenes😭😭😭😭

And now when i watch the maze runner i don't cry, because I know there are meanings to all of the characters deaths, and that it was really just there time to go..

You didn't have to break my heart even more after watching Death cue. 😭 but the way he said "we started this together, may as well end it that way too." it ended... just not in the way anyone would have wanted, but what makes me the most sad, is that Newt never got to say goodbye; to his sister, to all his friends. He was only able to say goodbye to Thomas, and that was enough for him.
I can proudly say that I watched this movie twice in theaters and I cried like a baby both times during newts death and when Thomas read newts letter at the end of the movie.
