The song rises in the air as the lone inkling stands upon the cliff holding a mighty broadsword as he stares down the massive hydra before him as Deep cut is chanting for them to cut the beast down. This is the beginning of a hero. The tale of a legend. That’s what I pictured as I heard this haha. I love it!
Plus deep cut (besides big ma) are canon to be ancient deities that saved the splatlands from chaos (and yes it is actually true and kind of hinted at in sunken sea scroll) so makes sense
Now this was a fun song. Love the festive vibe, it just makes you wanna dance. I'm probably gonna put this on loop and and just party away. 🥳 this also seemed tad bit different (almost experimental) from your other works and it turned out splendidly good job as always.
Oh also random idea (and you probably have a ton on your plate as is) I remembered how you mentioned before you were branching out with music I might have a song you could look at (possibly doing a "kalamity" version of) its Vegeta's final flash theme from dragon ball z. It similar to how you do music.
POV: All three of Deep Cut members find themselves stuck on a deserted island and have to do their best to survive until someone finds them and bring them back home. Fortunately, they all brought something useful with them: Shiver brought gears that will help them, Frye brought food to have something they can eat in case the food on the island isn't edible, and Big Man brought games, some things to have fun and keep a good mood. All of them works together to survive on this unknown island, they stay here for several days and nights, until, finally, someone find them and bring them home. After this experience, they become closer than ever! Idk why I wrote that but it was fun. I love this version, congrats!
This feels like if you grab a asian + symphonic orchestra and add romanticism and samba percussions. Good hybrid orchestra, you make some of the best interpretation with your obvious touch. Also good reverb and choir.

Can't afford to play the game, know some rather creepy details in the game, but mostly the music is quite a pop to listen with.. This theme seems to have a lot of chinese instrument mixed into, which is even better to listen
