Many people with great ideas could be a bit intimidated by the level of detail of this editor; it is powerful but complex but we need something more straightforward, something less complex to do manage. Something that does not require a too much learning and that takes a lot of time to do craft a mission. This editor will allow to create less complex missions but much quicker. Sometimes a simple mission if well crafted can be more memorable than a complex one. So, if you are reading, think about that and create for us an editor which is quicker and easy to use; that could bring you the creativity of many people that at the moment are cut out from the creative process. Thank you! THE SECOND IDEA is for single player mission creators an it is called: "THE OTHER TAKES" When you create a mission it would be interesting to create different version of it, like different takes based on the same core; that would enhance greatly the replayability of the mission. But at what cost do they charge a lot for a game that their company does not fix, does not update, does nothing, it just fills their pockets. when you play it just run from one side to the other and what to say about the biggest problem in the game are the bugs and lag the game is launched by its creators they drink piña colada while the servers fail
So they have one guy working on all the important server stuff and about twenty working on art? No wonder the game has turned into a boring wardrobe simulator.
The pipelines for art requires it to go through several stages, I can guarantee that all of the people in the room have different skills, whereas programmers can address any area. Not to mention everything you see in the game buildings, items clothes is all done by them. Whereas a lot of the programming is already there in the engine and needs to be changed to suit DayZ more.
Oh DayZ, how I had such high hopes for you. Now after a few months of playing this really is a case of polishing a steaming pile of dog shit. Roll on H1Z1, it's going to blast standalone into oblivion
Why, because they made a game you enjoy? Because they're still trying to fulfil the DayZ promise? Or is it because the person who was responsible for it all is leaving, after building a team and operation to ensure the game you like lives on?
Hello, I love this game! but it will be nice to settle problem of file.PBO once and for all! more and more people playing with this file! too often death inside a building and shooter is on the outside! he shoots through walls! normal since for him all the structure of the building is gone!! the game has some bugs but it was known before you buy! and we play with in trying to do the best with bugs but impossible to win a play which modify the file.PBO me and my team too often death because of .PBO before other object or effect it will add much to settle problem some friends of the team. want to stop playing even a DayZ Standalone Dean Hall : PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEME!!! Bet every damn computer in the office is an Intel/Nvidia platform, cuz AMD rigs seems to be completely left out of the opitmization, judging from the incredible poor performance the game has on them... Including mine...
won't happen, the arma series would be hard to make in UE4, i'm using UE4 for the game i'm making now and it doesn't work like arma. And it would be difficult to move from one to another engine
