Absolutely! I've experienced it MANY times, both with my cats and in my years as a practicing veterinarian. My latest case in point. My own cat would NOT leave my side after recent ankle surgery. During my time in the recliner, she was in my lap 24-7. Even now, now that I'm more mobile she still sleeps close by.

Notwithstanding the emotional and mental benefits, a cat purrs at a certain frequency which has been proven to improve the healing process of physical injuries.

The love of a cat can heal a person. The first time I was ever betrayed by a loved one I felt broken.
My kitty cat knew something was wrong. He gave me a lot attention and affection. Something about petting a cat and hearing it’s purring brings a joy. I placed my focus on him and not my emotional hurt, I started to heal. 😺💜😺💜😺
Who ever that was who betrayed you was a fool I'm glad you had a little angel watching your back a pet's love is often more pure then a humans.

What a beautiful pair these two are! Sebastian has an instant best friend who feels so safe & content in his presence. My first friend was also my kitty and that remains true to this day. ❤

Soul mates forever
I came close to dying as I had airway obstruction, was hypoxic during the day and worse at night. My two cats would lay by my head with their paws on my head purring. Take a look at animal communicator videos. They choose to come here and choose companions like Sebastian. I lost everything due to this all being misdiagnosed. So I have no cat now. I hope that changes soon
@@julieralls You got rid of your two cats because you were misdiagnosed? Did they get rehomed together? You didn't know they chose you and to help you until you didn't have them anymore and then saw an animal communicator video?
