I love how Maple shows her belly to you both. She isn't just safe with you guys. Maple truly trusts you all with no bounds. I bet her binkies and zoomies are super energetic.
When they’re in cages they feel safe. My buns are in cages outdoors. They all got out one night and I was horrified the next morning to come out and see my rabbit hutch cage door open. Mama and one kitten were still in together but 6young ones had gotten out. They all ran to me because they were so afraid. Yesterday the cage door was still open for a few minutes so I could finish some work but I walked away because I got distracted, I came back an hour or so later to realize that I’d left the cage door open and all of the buns were glued to the back corner huddled on top of each other because they didn’t want to ever leave the safety of their cage again. They love freedom but only if it’s introduced the right way, otherwise they are content because they don’t know anything else. Luckily I have a fenced in yard so they didn’t get out. I wish my cage doors had an alarm on them like my refrigerator door does.

@@biddibee3526 Rabbits should be kept inside in a rabbit-proofed home or an indoor-enclosure or room at the very least. Never in cages. They can get supervised time outside in a leash and harness or in a pen (and if it safe to do so: they're vaccinated, the yard is free from herbicides, etc.)
I don't think a lot of people realize how wonderful rabbits really are as pets...and that they do better in a home where they are treated like family and not kept in a small cage all day...
We release our girl rabbit in the morning but she goes into her cage and stays there all the rest of the day. She is very content, happy and extremely affectionate with us and we have had her for already over 6 years.
I love the way she flips over on the sofa, she's so funny and has a very sweet personality! I didn't know they were like little puppies...you saved her from a sad and lonely life.

How lovely.. rabbits are one of the most neglected pets. People don't realise how much space and attention they need. I know a lady who runs a local rabbit and guinea pig rescue from her garden, her set up is amazing but she's self funded through fundraising and constantly overwhelmed with more and more abandoned bunnies, vet bills, food etc.. the stress is real for her ❤
Guys, bunnies can be so affectionate if youre bonding with them 🧡 i got a bunny whos 8 yrs old now, he can barely see anymore but hes still clinging to me, theyre like the combination of dog and cat 🧡
Her flopping on her side is 🥰. I love to see a rabbit walking around free, they stay happy and much healthier. My bunny I got as a teenager at six weeks old had a similar life and lived ‘till the ripe old age of 13.
Maple's story is heartwarming. She's a beautiful rabbit and is very sweet. Thank you for adopting her from that petting farm and giving her a safe, loving home. You'r e a very kind-hearted couple. ♥🧡
I had a bunny named Mary Jane and a kitty named Fiona and they were BEST friends. Whenever we couldn’t find Fiona around the house, she’d almost always be discovered napping with MJ in her cage. 😂
Absolutely wonderful bunny parents ❤️and beautiful bunnies 🐰❤️🐰❤️🙏. Bunnies bring so much happiness 😊in ones life for sure 🐰🐰These are some special bunnies they light up any room❤️
The Albino rabbit I had when i was little LOVED suckers. No matter where Lucky was at in the house, you crinkle the wrapper and the Bronco Bunny was at your feet. I'm happy for you and your bunny. Cheers
❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing! I didn't know that rabbits would want to connect with people like that. You set a good example. Maybe, other people who have rabbits and keep them in cages will let them out and socialize with them too.
I totally agree - rabits are the most adorable little ones. I’ve been so blessed with 3 beautiful rabbits in all for years while living in a huge 350 sq appartment and none of them were ever in a cage - I brought them with me everywhere - incl to my parents garden where they were totally allowed to roam free. They all snuggled up to me all the time and they would snap my telephone cord if I were not paying attention to them and stop talking on the phone ( some 40 yrs ago) LOVE the little creatures ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
This is the FIRST time I’ve seen the personality of a rabbit. And I have seen thousands of rabbit videos with people claiming that they are just like dogs but yet all I see is that thing sitting there with his nose wiggling but no personality in sight. Thank you for sharing
@@chloyellow well I was hoping she wasn’t!!! Lol. Simply Because if most rabbits have a personality but just take special care like maybe you have provided then maybe more rabbits who are in need will get adopted.
I agree. But that is probably also why she is so bonded to these humans. They are her substitute fellow rabbits. Obviously they can't substitute completely for other rabbits but she seems very happy with them at least. And towards the end they also said that they had bought the other white long-haired rabbit also for her as a friend since they had had her neutered. So very dedicated rabbit parents I would say.
Maple is living her best life thx to you two! And you got her a fwend❤❤🐰 You are wonderful 😊 and all so happy HoPpY! I have always had one bun as I have a small apt. They don't live long so people should understand that. Personally I don't want to go through that so avoid pets with a short lifespan.

They only flop and show belly when they feel really secure and safe.
