The Void Titan build is a good one, but I think the reason Chat is dogging on it is that it's not doing anything crazy. We're used to seeing crazy at this point, and it's not doing anything over-the-top. It's a good build, it's just not flashy, which is what people like.

Meanwhile moths are cool however the moths themselves are actually too slow and hinder you, like you don’t want to shoot that enemy because you know they’re dead from the moth they’re trying to avoid, but also the overshield moth you kinda rely on is also not something you can really rely on in team play because they can still just avoid you and go to your teammates and even then they take time to overshield you despite being popped at your feet(as a grenade)
@@hardluckmk.52yeah survivability on Titan is really strong on this build and you don’t have to jump through hoops. It gives me the old contraverse hold build Warlocks used to main pre solar 3.0

The new super adds needed big target damage. Mask of the Quiet One is basically the return of HoIL but on steroids because it replaces the damage buff (and the regen is different but more consistent especially after the time nerf on HoIL) on the abilities with much more safety and the ability to free some fragments because Starvation isn’t needed and personally I usually run Harvest to help with Starvation consistency which isn’t needed either. Also the more safety lets you run Controlled Demolition / Offensive Bulwark more “recklessly” because most people opt for Bastion for the safety but Controlled Demolition and Offensive Bulwark are objectively the best combination as long as you have protection supplemented (Devour, keeping shield up with abilities and/or Repulser Brace). It’s a top notch all around build.
As a moth main, swap out ascension for stylish executioner and it’s so much better. You don’t need ascension, and stylish procs on pretty much every kill cos of the blinding. Helps a lot with the survivability of the build

Yes, but Mask gives it to you for just getting consecutive kills, AND kills when your shields are broken, AND gives a small health bump, AND general ability energy, AND frees up a fragment slot.
Hey cross I use a moth keeper all the time facet of dominance still works if you have any other grenade on for example I use dust field for the lower cool down and it still applies jolt bc moths are coded as a arc grenade regardless what you have equipped
I think the point of mask of the quiet one, has been missed. You don’t need to tie yourself down to the devour fragment anymore. Build it for grenade, volatile rounds and viral explosions. It pops off. (Not saying the prismatic one doesn’t slap too). Concerning the void build you got to build into that controlled demo, I’m in the middle of the pack, I got devour, heals from my volatile explosions. Stick on a recluse with repulser and go forth and KABLOOIE. Even go for manticore so you got more consistent void shield opportunities.
I havent seen anyone say it yet but if you use bitter/sweet on the moth build then you get the bonus damage from the artifact perk if the enemy is affected by a stasis debuff. =)
Yeah, I’m using the bittersweet with my build and it’s a must. Also you’ve got to utilize those grenades because that’s what’s keeping you alive. I also run two specials. Another grenade launcher in the kinetic slot like the lost signal makes a major difference. And I never run out of ammo.
And yes, you have to watch those moths because if you hit them, they will blow you up and kill you. That’s why every time I kill something I stick and move before I shoot again so I know I don’t hit those moths
I’ve been running this build for over a month and I literally haven’t seen anyone else running it. now, I’m sure I’ll see a shit load of people running it
Also, you have to utilize your heavy. Watch your special ammo and when it gets low, start using your heavy to clear some ads and you’ll get a butt load of special ammo everywhere. If you put the mods on correctly.
I've been using a variation of this moth build utilizing threaded spectre instead of ascension to help build darkness energy while providing good safety. It rocks!
On moth build, change to specter and switch to smoke bomb. Use artifact perk take grants devour on rapid weakness kill. Use the two together on a group to proc. Rocking devour now with more grenade and survival. Then you can lean into the mods to regenerate smoke bombs and dodge.
My only issue with this video was that the same Onslaught was not run for both builds. It's hard to judge each builds survivability when the are trialed in different Onslaughts. Personality I think survivability is a major factor in the viability of a build along with DPS, add control, and ease of synergy of the different perks and abilities.
What prismatic set up would've been better if i may ask? I'm always looking for new builds. I messed around with it and it felt like my ability regen was slower and the aspects didn't feel like they benefited me on prismatic.
Ive been enjoying using Glacier grenades this season now that consecration will shatter the crystals. The grenade regen from having devour up means you almost always have a glacier grenade to throw. Pairing it with Diamond Lance. Overall just has a more enjoyable playstyle for my taste at least. Pair that with the right fragments and you’ll find you always have transcendence available too
Menthol beads/pearls help with cough (think you might have to get them from a dr.), or over the counter chloraseptic drops work better than a lot of other regular cough drops. There's some cold and flu alkazeltser drops that work pretty good too, if you're achey. Also, try fighting lion instead of finding a fragment for volitile on the mask of the quiet one build to help make use of controlled demolition. It fks pretty hard now after the rework. You'll still be doing the same loop, and can still use a special if you want. Since fighting lion is primary ammo. Edit: If you NEED a pulse for unstop, can use Elsie's with destabilizing rounds. Not too partial of that perk, but with another strong exotic it should work out still.
I really with they created a mechanic where you can CHARGE up shield throw, increasing its damage and target bounce tracking. That would change it from now the wort melee on titan (preilviously shiver strike) to amazing
My two main Titan builds rn are stasis icefall and void mask of the quiet one. The void being a tad bit better. I’ve tried both on prismatic but there’s so much more survivability with their respective subclass. Although mask build did wayyy better than icefall on prismatic.
That titan build is just good stuff. Mask of the Quiet One is a “Goodstuff” exotic the same way many of the strongest exotics are. Buried Bloodline does the same thing and it appears in so many builds not because it does anything special, or flashy, or crazy damage numbers with specific execution, but because it grants easy and frequent access to Devour. If there were an exotic that changed the nature of an ability, that made you jump through an actual mental hoop in order to gain Devour for a longer duration, that would be more interesting. But things like this are just slapping on generic “I’m stronger” things. No unique mechanics, no gameplay loop separate from “shoot bullet”, it feels, and looks, like you don’t even have an exotic, you just have the strength of one. Which is why funky weapons and literal game changers (not in terms of disproportionate power, but literally feeling like a different game) like Mothkeepers and Ex Diris will always be proportionally more popular among the playerbase than streamers and self-claimed “Destiny 2 experts.”
Well mask does combo into my build. It helps with grenade regen a lot. Basically it goes grenade, get kills to proc devour, shield throw to get overshield, kill enemies to get grenade back, repeat. I 100% understand your point but there is a gameplay loop with it.
The music: “Party Rock! (Tron Edition)” Graviton: “I’m spinning like a ballerina” (Graviton is so good ya can turn your brain off, it’s not bad at all) 💙
I love moths on base strand cos of whirling maelstrom, woven mail, a third moth grenade and dealing any damage generates grenades. Also sever from melee. My fave hunter build ahead of void gyrgalcons and prismatic caliban syntho threaded spike.
How was he getting his grenade energy back so quickly. I’ve been trying to make a void build that uses a lot of grenades to proc volatile rounds but I feel like I’m always waiting for it to recharge.
I really liked the ex driis, I was using it in the final shape campaign and it was doing pretty well for me. Especially the increase fire rate saved me from death a couple times too (before the buff)
in the first build u can also get devour from the artifackt whit supernova in row 5 and power from pain in row 3 and if u use a grenade launcher u can also use concussive reload in row4
I was so excited when I found Aztecross in an LFG for trials this past weekend. Then later saw that he started playing trials with another group. I thought I was finally going to see the lighthouse. 😢
Honestly after months and months of nothing but using prismatic having these normal subclasses is a breath of fresh air lol Im glad the mothkeeper build is good now. I used basically the same thing back in the day, but it was only good in low level stuff.
Dude I have never used ex diris until this morning these buffs to it are insane and it makes it extremely fun and it’s actually good for ad clearing and dps
Titan build is pretty good however what might make it better would be substituting controlled demo for bastion and switching out vigilance for instability for volatile rounds
Yeah i made a different version of it that used what ya said. I thought i wasn't gonna be featured cause i got an eggplant refund. Luckily i still kept the original one.
Controlled Demolition is most definitely better. I tend not to find stopping power to be an issue so I’ll have some Repulser Brace weapon to have 100% uptime on Offensive Bulwark.
Yes. Just replace graviton lance with choir of one and replace the shotgun with a good scout rifle. Then replace one of your surges on your boots with a void scavenger mod and replace your heavy ammo finder mod on your helmet with a special ammo finder. I hope this helps!
It's crazy that they updated onslaught with this season both the first and new onslaught with newer mechanics that will likely be added to the Playlist after this season meanwhile gambit is drowning for content.
Dude, if you're having a scratchy throat, Natural honey helps alot. Just a tablespoon. Honey in tea, peanut butter and honey sammiches. Honey is great for a scratchy throat.
Not having to reload on Ex Diris is really good, pair it with a Kinetic Hatchling smg on Prismatic Warlock, proc' all the buddies, Hatchlings and Moths, great for solo play.
Falling guillotine with chain reaction and surrounded makes any onslaught easy. Just run in and spawn kill them. Outbreak also for when the screebs come in and you want to kill them from range.
I run the void Quiet One build but not like this. Should have Echo of Cessation for void breaches on volatile kills. That with the artifact perk that gives the weakening blast after picking up a breach is much more reliable than echo of harvest. Also swap out echo of vigilance, its not needed. replace it with echo of instability for volatile on grenade kills which you should be getting a lot of especially if you use a better grenade like vortex. Then to really juice this build you should use a weapon that generates free overshields like Manticore or Vexcalibur. For a more support focused build throw on deterministic chaos for loads of heal spams and void breaches because of the free volatile.
Let's be real. There are so many builds that flourish when you have tons of ads. I want to see him take a build that will flourish in a solo lost sector or solo GM. now that would be a build worth trying.

Hey cross I use a moth keeper all the time facet of dominance still works if you have any other grenade on for example I use dust field for the lower cool down and it still applies jolt bc moths are coded as a arc grenade regardless what you have equipped
Mask of quite one and Tommy’s matchbox is a great combo on prismatic titan
I thought Mask only worked on a Void Subclass?
@@nullandvoid7524it does but prismatic is all of them remember void super and grenade i don’t remember what else is in the prismatic kit for titan.
@@nullandvoid7524 on a void super, not subclass

I think the point of mask of the quiet one, has been missed. You don’t need to tie yourself down to the devour fragment anymore. Build it for grenade, volatile rounds and viral explosions. It pops off. (Not saying the prismatic one doesn’t slap too). Concerning the void build you got to build into that controlled demo, I’m in the middle of the pack, I got devour, heals from my volatile explosions. Stick on a recluse with repulser and go forth and KABLOOIE. Even go for manticore so you got more consistent void shield opportunities.
@@BatmanInAkilt collective obligation *
People don't realize that mask from my understanding grants unnerfed devour too which is nuts. Im pretty sure from my testing it is lol
man dies so much with the moth build in the easier onslaught and somehow this build wins. literal brain rot hunters eating moths.
Skill issue is not the fault of the build
Demand a mistrial haha
If you’re worried about range attacks, you can always put on the call. With lead for gold and you never have to worry about ammo
I've been using a variation of this moth build utilizing threaded spectre instead of ascension to help build darkness energy while providing good safety. It rocks!
Swap Graviton for Collective Obligation, it slaps with mask hard because it never needs to be reloaded and constant 3 buff uptime.
I think in a nightfall collective would be 100% better but for onslaught graviton is better.
Personality I think survivability is a major factor in the viability of a build along with DPS, add control, and ease of synergy of the different perks and abilities.
the sickness edits were hilarious
Mask of the Quiet One does work on Prismatic as long as you use a void super. Much more potent than the void build shown here
What prismatic set up would've been better if i may ask?
That'd be an awesome rework
My two main Titan builds rn are stasis icefall and void mask of the quiet one. The void being a tad bit better. I’ve tried both on prismatic but there’s so much more survivability with their respective subclass. Although mask build did wayyy better than icefall on prismatic.
Shoutout to the editor for 4:50 onwards cause Dam! What a beat line up.
Man them beats GOES SO HARD IN THIS VIDEO, I'd love to know the name of the songs
I 100% understand your point but there is a gameplay loop with it.
regardles of the build and super gameplay, i liked the most the background 90's music :D
The music: “Party Rock! (Tron Edition)”
Graviton: “I’m spinning like a ballerina”
(Graviton is so good ya can turn your brain off, it’s not bad at all) 💙
The fog horn during the cough 😂
I love moths on base strand cos of whirling maelstrom, woven mail, a third moth grenade and dealing any damage generates grenades. Also sever from melee. My fave hunter build ahead of void gyrgalcons and prismatic caliban syntho threaded spike.
Before no backup plans mask of the quiet one was a pretty solid pick for the triple shotgun build
Mothkeepers, you should use grapple so you get 2 grenades charges and special ammo finder and special finisher. Never run out of ammo for it.
How was he getting his grenade energy back so quickly. I’ve been trying to make a void build that uses a lot of grenades to proc volatile rounds but I feel like I’m always waiting for it to recharge.
Basically it was devour and offensive bulwark. I think my build is linked in the description of you want something to go off of.
Ascension with the chestpiece would go crazy here 👀
"Slice would have watched it" made me lol
I was so excited when I found Aztecross in an LFG for trials this past weekend. Then later saw that he started playing trials with another group. I thought I was finally going to see the lighthouse. 😢
i recently started using moths for the first time like this and its amazing
Honestly after months and months of nothing but using prismatic having these normal subclasses is a breath of fresh air lol
Im glad the mothkeeper build is good now. I used basically the same thing back in the day, but it was only good in low level stuff.
For the moth build, you need gl to weaken. That is where your missing your damage.
I'm running a similar Hunter build and it's so much fun and I'm usually always the one with the highest kills
both of these were gass but FINALLY void titan has become good
Dude I have never used ex diris until this morning these buffs to it are insane and it makes it extremely fun and it’s actually good for ad clearing and dps
@@amorfati4927 how would controlled demolition be better?
@@KingOfKingsXIV can you send a link in this comment
@daudaslam7871 sure. It's a little different but I'll send it.
Edit: So the dim link disappeared so unfortunately i can't send it
is there a way to run a choir of one version of this build?
Yes. Just replace graviton lance with choir of one and replace the shotgun with a good scout rifle. Then replace one of your surges on your boots with a void scavenger mod and replace your heavy ammo finder mod on your helmet with a special ammo finder. I hope this helps!
In the second one u could switch ascension because u are already getting amplified a ton due to ex diris catalyst
I would do literally anything to get that helmet ornament back in the moth keeper build
Your editor is god tier 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
It's crazy that they updated onslaught with this season both the first and new onslaught with newer mechanics that will likely be added to the Playlist after this season meanwhile gambit is drowning for content.
Dude, if you're having a scratchy throat, Natural honey helps alot. Just a tablespoon. Honey in tea, peanut butter and honey sammiches. Honey is great for a scratchy throat.
What Titan gauntlets is he wearing? I’ve never seen those
They're from a dawning set.
Not having to reload on Ex Diris is really good, pair it with a Kinetic Hatchling smg on Prismatic Warlock, proc' all the buddies, Hatchlings and Moths, great for solo play.
I use this titan build except I use Collective obligation instead of graviton.
I really wanna try that but unfortunately i don't have collective obligation.
Little confused why Time Dilation is used when there is no decaying armor charge. (On Rengouku's build)
Once solo ops comes out and we can crank the difficulty is when I think these will shine. Not worrying about team mates and such
Falling guillotine with chain reaction and surrounded makes any onslaught easy.
Is there a reason the moth build doesn’t utilize the strand grenade? It has a shorter cd than the arc one I thought.
Also swap out ascension for winter’s shroud for the artifact this season. Shuriken and now you have all 3 champions
