It has always blown my mind how ridiculously bad the typography on Patek dials is. Does Thierry Stern draw these in PowerPoint?
Never noticed it until now! Great point.
I suggest you research the earliest world timers beginning in 1937 with the 515. The typography is a direct reference.
You haven't given a clue as to what in the topography of this watch you object to. Maybe it was something else that blew your mind.

@@highnrising But as for typography- stretched glyphs in y direction, squeezed in x, bad kerning. On other watches bad font choice for all caps
