Gunnar Hansen who plays Leatherface in the 1974 horror movie "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" gives a walk through tour of the original Quick Hill, Round Rock house. Now located in Kingsland TX
Listening to Gunner makes me wish I could of met him. Sounds like he’s a good story teller. Very well spoken. Funny, we’re basically getting a run down from Leatherface himself. Haha. Rest In Peace, Gunner.
I met him in 2006 he came to my hometown of Beaumont Tx Halloween weekend the last weekend for our Haunted Hotel halloween house out here. I was next in line at his booth he had with all of the Leatherface pics and I ask are you him referring to a Leatherface Pic and he said I'm him and signed a notepad I had at the time and he wrote your next on it. I hate I lost it during a hurricane we had out here years ago but I'm glad i had a chance to meet him
I have a professor that met him once at a convention in New Jersey called Chiller Theatre. He said Gunnar was soft-spoken, but intelligent, despite his iconic role being the opposite. Very kind guy, laidback. What made me laugh was that the convention had a dance floor, and my professor said that when Gunnar was out on the floor, all the women would always want to dance with him. He said that you could easily tell where he was, not only because of his height and gray hair, but also the swarm of women.
It's odd to realize that the original TCM house's layout is far better known than many other horror film houses. Some fans could draw accurate builder's blueprints of that house...and they couldn't do that with the houses they were born in. I could walk through that original house blindfolded.
Watching stuff with Gunnar, who seems like a completely lovely guy, is cathartic to me almost. I need him to be as real a person as possible considering the character he portrays has traumatized me since I was a kid.
why do you have the camera IN his face while he is describing and pointing at things in the room. Shouldn't you have backed out some so the viewers can SEE that room , to compare what he is showing VS what it looked like in the movie? Thanks ,A TTCM fan
+Mario Sanchez please tell me your joking???????????????????? I seriously hope that you don't actually think that an entire house can fit on a trailer let alone be lifted out of the fucking ground that's literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my entire existence on planet earth
It's entirely possible to lift a house onto a trailer. or it could be hoisted onto a flat boat kinda thing. possible cut into pieces and put back together somewhere else.

The real first house, was in Columbus Texas, Bonnie and Clyde also stayed there a couple of night's. there is now 2 House's that has been built, that they made movie's from. The Rangers burned the original house down that was in Columbus Texas, they got tired of people calling the people to the property.
great video, id luv to visit to visualize the movie..... would never eat, or sleep there, the giant cows head on the wall freaks me out !!!! staircase lined with cheap fluffy bunny's?? tacky, or, someone has a disorder lol :P RIP mr hansen, you remain one of the scariest charaters in movie history ❤️
Nina Flying cupcake Monster They also moved the Original Halloween House..It's a Chiropractic Office now..Damn I would have Bought it if I knew it was on Sale..Some guy built a Replica of the Halloween House in North Carolina
They moved the Amityville house from one place to another too. If only there was a way of _knowing_ it's going to become a horror house before (or during) construction then the architect could install giant built-in wheels underneath to make it easier.
@@Ninineonangel77 When Freddy Krueger said "Every town has an Elm Street!" he wasn't joking. You wait and see, it'll be the streets being moved everywhere next!
The original still today destroys the remakes .. Very good.. How many chainsaw people are amongst us think about it. How many chainsaw films have been made..
They just advertised this chainsaw movie so they won't find the actual linked video on the news to cover it up so that people would find it impossible to find the actual video but good cover ups for that
did any one saw someone passing through at 1:41 or 1:42? whoaa that person freak me out lol i am not going in there if that place was real then im out n plus i dnt want to die in that freaky crazy killer!
@Trent Joynson I bet you and everyone else here that if they didn't change the house at lot & I mean ALOT more people would've visited including you & me XD
Rip Gunner you were the best leatherface
He IS Leatherface
we've lost Gunnar, Mariyln, Jim & Paul... the chainsaw family John, Ed, Teri, Allan and William. let them know you care. Life is depressing.
R.I.P. Gunnar
He's such an awesome human in real life I really feel sad that he's gone now. Too young.
RIP Gunner. You were one of the greats and no one since has ever been able to upstage the character you brought to life!

Only the left side of the house though. The recent video game shows the whole house.
