I haven't been up there railfanning yet, so it's cool to see some action up there. Neat to see the ballast being spread and the GP39RN at the other end of that. That's one of my favorite engines they have.
Yeah. The Pittston Area is the main area for switching jobs and local freight. Not much happens up this way. But hopefully we get 02 up this way this way because R&N said they want passenger service in Pittston this year.
Can’t wait for this new railroad station in Pittston to be completed soon so there will be future expandable excursions from Reading to Pittston, Jim Thorpe and Bethlehem!
It'll be nice. But trains to Bethlehem and beyond are impossible. Ns will never let R&N on there trackage. So R&N trains will always stay on there line. So if you want trains to go to New York and places like that. I'm sorry but it'll never ever happen.
@@IronhorseRailProductions Plus if R&N could possibly acquire the line to Bethlehem from Norfolk Southern, then it would be possible if they have a station there!
Very nice enjoyed watching this.
Great video man, got to love switching action!

@@IronhorseRailProductions I wonder if R&N can buy the line to Bethlehem from NS?
