the most difficult interviews are interviews where you have to cook up stuffs and use jargons like “ VUCA” and constrained innovation blah blah. Give the gold medal to the dev team please.
Thanks Exponent for creating this video, great insight for engineering management. Very detail answer.
Thanks for the kind words, BlueWolfNorth! We are glad that we are able to make content that you find useful!
what a discussion, very thankful to you for uploading this.
Great answer - there's not a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to leading technical teams.
This is gold.
way better than tech interviews that require leet code and are
paid very less
Thanks for this discussion, Can you please help understand what is WWW-WBI framework. Thanks for asking the followup question on SBI framework, definitely something to learn.
Hey Saurabh, glad you found the video interesting! WWW-EBI is a workplace coaching tip.
WWW, which stands for "What went well?" and focuses on the positive aspects of our work. It encourages us to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work and achievements of our team members. By highlighting what went well, we create a supportive and uplifting environment that boosts morale and motivates everyone to continue their excellent work.
On the other hand, EBI, which stands for "Even better if ____", is a great way to foster a growth mindset among team members. It encourages us to identify areas for improvement and view them as exciting opportunities for growth. By keeping this positive perspective, we can constantly strive for excellence and push ourselves to reach new heights.
Overall, incorporating WWW-EBI into workplace coaching not only nurtures a culture of appreciation and recognition but also fosters a continuous improvement mindset that propels both individual and team success.
Excellent
Whats your leadership style?
- sure sure, Tahts a great question lol wut?
what is EBI framework?
EBI stands for "Even better if ____". This helps identify areas for improvements in a positive environment, making it conducive for learning!
All this is just hollow talk. Nobody is going to buy these answers in real interview unless you are able to back it up with concrete believable examples. And most people just don't have real life experiences catering to these scenarios.
Do interviewers get trapped by just jargon words of leadership style, lead by example etc ? People want real work example rather than jargons and blah blah words
