Watch as I show you how I store and organize all 120 of my Prima Watercolor Confections half pans, in ONE Palette! I also sorted all the colors that I own (11 sets out of the available 12) into color categories to make them easier to use. I'll explain what I've done and share my color swatch charts oxoxo

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I've recently been inspired to use my watercolors, but having them in 9 tins has prevented me from really enjoying them. I'll be buying this palette tomorrow!

  • @So_salty

You don’t have adhd huh? I cannot focus on tasks like this but you have done so so well! Do you print with waterproof ink?

  • @So_salty

    You’re dedicated! I’m thankful for that 🎉

  • @lostluna91

Thank you for this! It is amazing! Did you end up getting the other pallet & make another chart?

  • @suewilkinson910

That was a great idea and a true labour of love. I only have 4 Prima palettes, but even then having all the tins open is a pain. I can imagine it's impossible if you have them all.

Hi. This is such a great idea. I’m excited to organize mine!! Have you seen the new one called “Currents”? Wondering where those should be placed? Help!!!

  • @kimgardner2080

I’m so excited about this, thanks for sharing all your work. I have a question, some of my prima colors are very hard and don’t reset well, have you run into this issue and if so, do you have any suggestions? Thanks

Oh my god thank you so much, I love the prima collection and I was looking for something to ease their use because it's sometimes a waste of time to open each set, You had such a great idea !!!Vanessa (from France)

My palette is the Vintage Pastels because they have a certain level of moodiness to their colors, as well as the fact that I felt there were a few too many similar colors in the other palettes. I admit though I do want to acquire Pastel Dreams too (can you tell I have a thing for pastels 😭)

Hello Kate - I reached out to you last year on this video about your prima color chart but adding in the Prima "Currents" set. I just happened again upon this video and your blog and realized I've never shared my chart including currents with you

Hi Kate, hello from rural SW Victoria. I hope your broken limb is all better and not giving you any grief. I love your system, it is amazing and it works so much better than having a big stack of small tins. Thanks your sharing your hard work. (I bought my Prima sets before watching your video 😞 so unfortunately I have the duplicate Complexions set. I've decided that I'll just keep it in tact for any "making faces/people" projects.) Anyway, I also have the set call Currents 133-144. They all look like "cool blues" to me except for a couple which may stray onto the warmer side. Two questions, are you thinking of (ever) adding them to your palette/colour chart and, if not, would you care to categorise them so I can fit them into your system? Not asking much, am I? 🙂

This is great. If I ever own more colours I might do this too. On the other hand I do love the colour stories that each pan contains.

Sorry you had to “break a leg” to create this great invention, But Wow ! I have similiar problem with my Daniel Smith Water Color & combinations of Holbein, W&N, QoRs, Senielier, etc. With the exception of QoRs, I use my colors regardless of Manufacturer, but some do granulate differently, dont fit in color familys that I understand, especially if names are used but also some pigments have a wide range of red to purple, that is deceptive. Still trying to sort it out myself, will look into the resources you used. Wont use your color chart, but will use your logic & I have that same mejillo pallette, and several more. Thanks for making a you tube, I found you through Jane Davenport on Spellbinders site. Hope you are healed by now & back in the pink of health.
