If the Bluetooth issue is because the Topdon is timing out, that could be fixed with a firmware update. You can narrow down the problem by using two different brands of cellphones. If both brands of cellphones time out at about the same time the problem is Topdon. Run the test with one brand, then run the same test again with a different brand. If the timeout times are different, then its a phone issue. It could also be an issue with the Bluetooth protocol. Thanks for showing the tool. Looks like I should have one.
Good video. I am forklift technician in Spain. I love your videos, I am interested in oscilloscope for diagnostics too. Im thinking in a Pico 2205, I have a low Budget... What Do You think about 2205? Thanks.
Its ok as a basic scope. The automotive software would not work on it though. It.means it have no presets for probes usually used for automotive like the ignition probes. You would have to set these up manually as custom probes. I think it is also 8 bit not 12 bit. But like I said, good as a starter scope.
Mid range scope option for me would be a micsig ATO004. There's lots of reviews from other guys on youtube. May not be as cheap as 2205 though. The cheapest would be hantek.
Ok, I appreciate it. I’ll have to make me an account. I’m a 20 yr lead tech. Been at a Toyota dealer all those years. Went out on my own Jan 2020. Would love to help you any way I could if you ever need info. Also love your videos and the in-depth diagnostic.

@@forkliftgeek10 Ok. Thanks.
Also when you use the 2205 make sure you are using an attenuator for inductive loads like injectors, contactors, or motors.
@@forkliftgeek10 Ok.
Do You know any affordable options?
