Got 7A for ~ 2 weeks. Heat issue! Once 1st day of receiving it, after 15 min of typical Android setup, the back is getting really warm, like warm water, and my LG G4 > 5 years ago. Today, used the Google Maps navigation and plug in to charge it using 10W car charger, the phone gets even warmer, like hot shower. Hope Google will release a patch soon. You should bring this heat issue up in your review
what are you trying to hide though 👀. haha i'm just kidding. that makes sense though! Specially since viewing angle shouldnt really bother us really since we'll be looking at the phone face front.
LOVE that Ducati! Yours? Very sweet. Oh & the Pixel 7A looks ok as well. I’m too far down the Apple rabbit hole to change however I’m looking for a 2nd phone( to separate home/business stuff) that’s decent but as It wont be the main phone doesn’t have to be great. Looking at OPPO as well…don’t know if you’ve tried them out. 😊
Ive tinkered with the 6a and 7a. One thing i noticed was the 6a appeared to have a brighter display, even auto peak brightness appeared brighter in bright lighting conditions?
As per GSM Arena and others the Pixel 7a has been universally panned for having poor battery life. I don't game, stream, vlog, etc. But after receiving the Android 14 and perhaps doing some battery saving tips can you confidently still say the battery life would last well up to 12 midnight or beyond ? (Thinking of getting either this or the older 6a with a bigger battery capacity)
I'm pretty much agree with everything you say other than the emoji thing. Android definitely has better emojis. iOS emojis look old and ashy! Emoji should be simple colorful and full of life! But iOS emojis look like somebody made all of them in one day and put no love in them. They look like something meta would have created for their metaverse! And the app thing that's another myth. Android has more developers because it's open source and Google doesn't take as much money. Especially when your app gets into the millions of downloads. Google takes significantly less money. Not to mention Android developers. Have more freedom to do whatever they want as long as they abide by the Play store guidelines! It's especially easier for newer developers. But most developers are just lazy. There are a lot of Android developers that know what they're doing and can have their app optimized for almost every phone. But the issue is this whole narrative that they're way too many Androids out there and it's hard to develop for those when Google has made it extremely easy for third party developers and first party developers to develop for Android. Seeing how 90% of the stuff you need to develop for Android is at the API level. Meaning there's nothing individualized about needing snapchat to understand every Android camera because they're all using the same API. You're not really developing for individual cameras you're developing from the camera itself, which they all read the same API base level code. So acting like in 5 years they can't develop their app to work better with Android cameras. That's just developers being lazy. Look at Snapchat for example on the pixel they fixed it. And now because of that for some reason Samsung using Snapchat looks way better. Like Instagram has been on Android for almost 10 years now. They have no excuse for why the camera still looks like ass. They're just lazy. That's not on Google. That's on app developers. Google did their job!
If android get a good looking Emoji set, Its gonna be a plus point for Android! Rn emoji in android rly sucks, currently I'm using IOS emojis on my Android phone. What's your thoughts on Android emoji?
Kindly please make video related privacy & customisation on pixel phone it's really helpful those for come first time use pixel phone luv from India ....
I use both platforms heavily. In fact I carry around both most of the times as well. So I'm plugged into everything. I'm a tech reviewer and that's my job fyi. Also I have no reason to make stuff up lol. This phone was neither sent to me nor paid for. O bought it and decided to make a video on it that's all...
I was considering a few phones to switch to. I was considering the samsung s23 ultra but its too square and pricy. The s23+ wich is a perfect fit for my hand and the iPhone 14 and 14 pro. I have a moto g stylus 5g and its decent and has almost the same os as google pixel but the cameras are terrible. But the pixel 7a looks like a strong contender but i also want to try something new to me like iphone 14. Wich one should i pick? Pixel 7a, iPhone 14/14pro or s23+?
@@TausifHussain well no budget since im with Tmobile and they offer plans to change your device and ill have to wait till August to change my phone. Ill just be paying for activation and then ill pay monthly for their service
OnePlus 10T walks all over this phone day and night all week for the same price. 16 gigs of ram and 256gb storage. Snapdragon 8gen 1 and AMOLED screen at 120hz. 125w charging.
Thank you for a fair assessment of this. Not a sponsor based review. I was able to pick one up for under 300..
Thank you for watching! Appreciate the kind words. No way!!! That’s an incredible deal man congrats. 300 for that is a steal!
finally someone who talks about the switch from iOS to android in a phone review! Awesome video Tausif, keep up the good work!🙌🏻🔥

How you enjoying it now
Very nice format focussing on the everyday experience, not on the specs!
Thank you! That’s my goal with these videos! To give people real world experience.
I love the fact that nobody can see my phone screen from far away or from the sides. That's honestly a plus for me. 2:46

I don't like glass backs the 7a has the perfect build quality with materials and form factor IMHO

Thank you Marc! Appreciate you :)
I appreciate your review, great video!
i enjoy your video man, hopefully I can buy pixel this year!
Nice video, Tausif. There are still alot of kinks which needs to be ironed out by Google to make it a more competitive device.
Got my 7 for 300 new right before this phone came out. I am pretty happy about it. Both phones are good though for sure

I see that no one tests the flash photos/videos indoors to see how they look like. it would be insightful.
What wallpaper did you use in the pixel, looks very cool, i wanna download it.

Should you buy the Pixel 7a or the Pixel 7a....hmmmmmmm...after careful consideration I'd go with the Pixel 7a

Why everyone is recommending multiport chargers as it is not at all compact, who's asked that?
Do recommend some handy single port fast chargers
Nice review bro, how it performs after android 14 update?

'you know what they say about people with small hands' 😂😂😂
" Is it worth buying in 2023"?? The phone is released this year, dude, what kind of question is that?
As in does it make sense to buy it this year considering there’s already other phones on the market it’s competing with lol
Worth buying in 2023😮
I bought in 2024😅
in selfie mode does pixel 7a has 'Palm gesture' or not??
I believe so
You're not being honest the brightness is not such good and a price vs 6 pro I bought mine for 340 cheaper and brighter only downside is Bigger.
Congrats on getting the 6 pro hope you enjoy your purchase :)
@@TausifHussain so replay please is it better or no than 7a especially for a price.
6a has a brighter display in real use
