Happy Sunday guys! I know lots of you will be putting up your Christmas decorations and hot chocolate stands this weekend. Be sure to tag me in on instagram. I LOVE TO SEE THEM! Also don't forget! Limited BIG (and a little one...shhhhh keep that quiet) brummymummymugs go on sale tomorrow at 9am. Have a lovely day Em xxx
MOAMS ARENT VEGETARIAN! It’s amazing seeing you being so supportive of Ethan not wanting to eat animals but just warning you that some sweets and jellys contain gelatine (not vegetarian). Please ignore me if the sweets were just for his class and not him but it’s always best to check 😊
There are loads of sweets that are veggie though- skittles, starburst, love hearts, candy kittiens, fruit pastels, refresher bars and most chocolate! They’ll always say on the packet
I would love to see a “what I got my kids for Christmas” video and a stocking stuffer video. Also seeing a Christmas foods video would be great too! It’s nice to see what other people do
Hi Emma, you might want to change the title of this video, and include ad, so that you don’t get in trouble. It wasn’t obvious at all before clicking onto the video that there was going to be a advert for a homeware in Christmas treats video. So was odd to have 5 minutes before the Christmas treats bit even started.
Loved the Costco haul! You should try their vegetables, fab quality & last much longer than supermarket bought! We bulk buy the meat and freeze it always a great way to save money!
just wanna say love how you're taking your little boy seriously about being a veggie! when i was little and I said I wanted to be veggie i wasn't taken seriously, i then decided to become vegetarian when i was a teenager and was barley taken seriously (was constantly offered meat when i didn't want it) but stuck at it for a few years, now i eat mostly veggie! x
I found one of those wrapping paper cutters at a local garden centre, absolute game changer! We're putting up our tree and decorations today, the girls are very excited.
@@brummymummyof2 depends on the quality of the wrapping paper, if it's cheap, waxy paper I find it doesn't cut well. Pop your roll of paper in the middle, pull out as much as you need for wrapping, edge of where you want to cut on the blade, do a small cut to start it off, then go up the roll!
Love your videos Emma, can I just say I LOVE the way you embrace your children and there ideas and needs, Ethan wanting to become veggie and you totally respecting his wishes! Lovely Mummy you are!!! 👍🏽💕🤗😘xxxxx
We have a small family 2 households that normally mix at Christmas, (we live in different parts of the country so haven’t seen each other since March ) one is 3 key workers and 1 is 2 people working from home. Those of us who are key workers are planning to get tested a week before Christmas when we break up and isolate until the big day. The homeware bits are adorable. I’m a Tier 3 area too. I love your Christmas content, makes me feel cozy. Just what we need in the current world situation.
I love a Costco trip!! I agree though it is very over whelming when you’re inside because there’s just so much to look at! The cookies are so nice from the bakery bit! X
I have used brown paper to wrap presents this year so we can recycle it and added ribbon etc to jazz it up! Don't envy you having to clear the lounge for the decorating when it's decorated for Christmas! 😳 Good luck, but it will look lovely when done!
I ordered the wrapping paper bag after you showed it, it's brilliant! No more hunting around the house for my supplies! I've also ordered named labels to stick on the kids presents this year so I don't have to write on all of them, so much easier!
So interesting to see what items you guys have there compared to us in the states. Would love to know what type of foods do you cook for Christmas that would be different from us? Can't wait to see the choice of paint you chose for the walls and type of floor. Thanks for sharing with us.
Eos is a really great brand for lip balms, keep an eye put in home bargain as they do them in there too (they are cheapest I've seen them) they are usually £6 individually in some shops so you got a good deal on the trio xx
Love your videos and I can't wait for more Christmas content. I have been home sick with Covid for 10 days. I'm starting to get better but it's been a long week. Love from Oslo.
Perfect start to a Sunday!! I work in an SEN school so have worked through since the beginning of the first lockdown. Work is definitely more full on as there is this whole other layer of things to consider with COVID-19. I love my job, but will be very ready for the holidays!! You are definitely my favourite person on UA-cam Emma, especially love your Christmas content 😍😍😍
This was a lovely video to watch whilst waiting for my cheats pain au chocolat to cook in the oven! Thanks for keeping the festive cheer high! Today I put up my Christmas treeee xx
Love Costco! Buy mostly household cleaning and things that last. I bought 6 bottles of washing up liquid about 2 years ago and still have 3 bottles left (we have a dishwasher so don't go through it that quickly)! Fresh food I tend to avoid unless I'm having a party (LOL) as it doesn't get eaten quickly enough in our house.
We do a big Costco shop once a month and then top up elsewhere as and when we need extra fresh bits and pieces. It saves us a fortune. We’re a family of four as well. I literally only buy toilet roll about once every three or four months. Bleach and washing powder maybe twice a year. Same for foil and bin bags etc. We really make the bulk buying work for us. We even buy the majority of our meat there and freeze it. In the long run it saves us so much money. We do admittedly indulge ourselves and pick up lots of treats as well - but it’s always worth it! If you can’t treat yourself during a worldwide pandemic then when can you? Lol. Sending love to you and yours. Enjoy the deliciousness. Xxo
I bought some of those cutters as well. Tried one out yesterday when I was wrapping. I couldn’t get mine to work either. It made me feel so much better when you couldn’t get yours to work either.
I keep my kids in a list as well so I know what I've bought and how many they have each. I've also got a list of what family have bought so if people want ideas I know what not to tell them. I also keep a list of all Christmas food I've bought as I start buying a little bit each week from September
We are in tier 3 in nottingham and had no idea we could meet outside so im off to research what we can do. I'm desperate to see my dad so this may be how I can do it.
I’m in a tier 3 area too which is sad but we’re just going to try make the best of it. I love a Christmas organiser too, I have used spreadsheets and notebooks for these so I don’t think it’s sad at all.
With buying in bulk, just remember to still price compare. Sometimes things seem cheaper when you get so many, but actually it's either only a few pence so not worth the hassle of trying to store it, or it's still more expensive than a non-branded product or the same product on offer in another shop.
I've had a scotch wrapping paper trimmer for about 5 years one of the best wrapping aids I've ever got! Looks completely different to the green tube thing but is soooo easy to use! Give that one a try instead ❤
Great Costco haul, luv the nutcraker cushion,i have one of thr gift paper cutters, u will luv it once u have worked out how 2 use it, took me a few attempt. X 💖
Eos lip balms are really good quality, up to a few yrs ago you couldn't buy them over here and everyone wanted them from the US. They're not cheap but they are lovely and super quality. Xx
Hi Emma. I hope you're all doing really well. Loved your Costco haul. Those macaroons look soo nice 😊 Your hair is looking lovely.. We are in Preston tier 3. Take care sweety xxxxxxxx
Great vid Emma, try making fahitas with quorn chicken, I've made it this way for years and actually prefer it lol i tend to use 2 bags of the quorn chicken pieces, that way it's veggie and ethan can eat it too 😎
What a lovely treat this Sunday morning! Love the cushions and we haven't been to Costco in about a year so will pop in before Christmas! Yes we tend to buy a lot of snacks in there too because it's just so appealing! 😄 Love their lemon cake too! 😍 Their chicken nuggets are the best as it's such high quality and I love their golden kiwis too! Look forward to more Christmasy videos ❤️
If you are also looking for letters from Father Christmas. NSPCC do a great one, you can really personalise it, down to the boarder. You can put down your child's name and a family or friends name. Its nice and they only ask for a donation for one. They ask for £5 but ofcoursw you can go higher or lower depending on your budget
I so enjoy shop hauls, and I go to our USA Costco at least twice a month. Just wondering as a mom of a son myself, what compelled Ethan to become a Vegetarian at such a young age. Kids need protein especially since they're still going through growth spurts. Many hugs to all as you endure another lockdown. My kitchen shop I work at is open since September, with a limit of 25 people at a time. Most restaurants due curbside pick up, and some do 25% of people inside and many more sitting outside. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I've just been catching up on your Christmas videos and had a little weep thinking about how rubbish Christmas is going to be this year 😭 I've spent lots of Christmas Days on my own for various reasons and it's never bothered me as I've always seen people, given presents etc around it. This year I pretty much haven't seen anyone except supermarket staff since March and won't be able to exchange gifts or spend time with anyone. I've been fine throughout the pandemic, but it's just hit me that the end of the year is really going to suck. Big love to you all ❤️
I get excited about people's Costco shop, loading the cupboards up is the word, we go to Aldi and home bargains and buy double the amount as there's 5 adalts in our house. My husband is alway scrolling through hot UK deals and this week he got breakfast cereals for 80p each.... Do you have to pay a membership for coscos? If so how much??? Another shop to bulk buy his farm foods they sell rice and pasta and washing detergent in huge amounts for less that a regular bag or box.
Great cheery vlog Emma😀 for Ethans sweets Swizzels are vegetarian, they’ve been selling them in Aldi, also in Aldi, their no chicken nuggets are great👍🏻I’m vegan so I’m always searching for new treats😊💗
Omg, my daughter is 18 next year and she went through the lip balms phase at Erins age. Spent my life looking for lip balms! She had a drawer full! Went to Florida when she was 11 and she went nuts buying them! Now she doesn’t give a f**k lol!! 😀😀
I did a Costco trip this week, the muffins are delicious, especially the ginger ones 😁👌, we’ve also had the macaroons and they’re super tasty as well , enjoy all your lovely snacks xx
Hey, hope you are well. Quick question.....how do the muffins hold up when you freeze? Have never thought about doing that before. Loooove your videos 😊😊
Oh love a good Costco trip lol we go monthly and stock up on cereals, crisps, fruit and drinks oh and the all important toilet rolls & kitchen rolls 😁also plenty of treats 😁 Oh in regards to being a vegetarian make sure to check labels, maoam if I remember right isn’t vegetarian, also anything with a red colour double check that as a lot of foods with red dye is made from beetle shells 🤢 mr Kipling Battenberg is guilty of that sadly. It is all about label checking and looking for that V symbol & if your not sure always google the E numbers
Hiya afternoon hair looks lovely. I need to dye my hair. Love costco I'm having xmas at home this year I normally go to my sisters. Have finished watching the crown wasnt keen on this series, maybe to much mrs thatcher
Even as an adult, stockings are still my absolute favorite part of Christmas morning. My mom found quite the lot of magical things to stuff them with over the years. 🎄🎅❄️
Looked up where my nearest Costco is and found it’s 180 miles away, so out of the question. I have joined Amazon’s subscribe & save and find if you purchase 5 items each month you get a really good discount, my cat food is over £5 a bag cheaper and if I check prices and shop of items that I need there are some terrific savings.

Oh no! Feel well soon! x
Just wanted to say I bloody love you videos emma. You are such a down to earth lady! Also love how much you love Christmas- glad it’s not just me!! Xx

With the paper cutter, try going from bottom to top I used mine for the first time yesterday and it’s a game changer. X
I have just seen stacey Solomon on her insta story use the wrapping paper cutter! So might be helpful?🥰.
I’m having a bad anxiety day and this is exactly to kind of cosy content I’m in need of 😁
Ooo that nutcracker cushion is so cute!

Tip I have just is to make double portion of bolognese sauce, so you can freeze some portions and then can add to it to make into chilli even
