Last Sunday, a week ago, I was unfortunately in a car accident that wasn’t my fault at all. The other (much younger) driver’s car was undamaged & he was unharmed, because I found a way to avoid him, but I was hurt with minor injuries & my car is very likely to be a ‘write-off’ from it not stopping in time before a high, thick stone wall of a Cornish country estate. That’s the basic facts of what happened.

@@nerineskinner Today, 2 weeks since I messaged you, & 3 weeks exactly since the accident I was in, I’m healing up very well, thankfully. Yes, it wasn’t that great an experience because my steering wheel airbag opened up & my seatbelt tightened on impact with the stone wall - but most importantly the safety features in my car worked & protected me 👍. Mentally, I’m feeling so-so, but it’s going to help quite a lot that I’m doing a 100 mile walk/jog/run fundraising challenge soon during the whole of March for ‘Mind’…(my target amount to raise will be £150)…that should help me recover even more & help take my mind off the recent accident. I wanted to let you know that I’ve very much appreciated your kind, sympathetic & caring words earlier today. Thank you so much lovely, very talented Nerine 🙏😊💛🌟. And I hope you’ve had an enjoyable & pleasant weekend. My very best wishes sent to you…Daniel x (or Danny - what my late, much missed Mum always called me). PS.
