Fun project. You might try re-recording sound with the microphone at least 6" away.

Is it louder with the bigger speakers? How much louder if so?

The 10 inch and 2x12 were certainly louder than the little speaker. You wouldn’t disturb a household with the little speaker whereas you could borderline jam along with a band through the bigger speakers.
