I’ve had this Lavazza one for about 4 years and use it regularly. It’s great for the price.

I was given the Lavazzo as a present and I find that on the froth setting it’s great but when on milk it’s only tepid. Is this normal?

Really great review. Which would you prefer for making Lattes when it comes to foam density?

Had both over the years, by far better the Lavazza, mainly on the cleaning.
Whole thing comes out, leaving a completely flat internal base in the Lavazza froather, without spike. Cleaning is more effective, and cleaning is the base for the longevity of the device.
Have you seen any other froather with similar stirring mechanism as Lavazza, the answer is no, because it is a protected patent

As important as the density of the foam is the temperature. Any chance you could froth some milk for a cappucino and stick a thermometer in the frother before pouring? I have a similar machine to the Nespresso and my biggest issue is with the temperature of the frothed milk. Almost imposible to make a hot cappucino. I'd be curious to know what the temperature of your frothed milk is. I've read that the recommended cappuccino milk temperature be 55-65°C (139-149°F).

I’m doing more testing for a machine next week and will do and update the description for these as well 🙌

I have a delonghi nespresso, it cost around £400 and has a steamer for milk built into the unit. This was also always my issue, have to microwave the final drink to get it hot enough. Its always bugged me. I just switched to this milk frother and a moka pot and its much more warmer. Haven’t measured temp though.

Love your review. Have you tried frothing oat or almond milk in these?

Hi. Thank you. Yes I have. I find that Minor Figures oat milk works well. As for almond milk the Califia one worked the best.

Hi. I did as recommended by the manufacturer and used “For optimal milk froth, use semi skimmed milk at refrigerated temperature”
