    This, together with part 1, is I think one of the most comprehensive auto reviews I've ever seen. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the quantity of information presented and even if I knew most of them I still watched the review with pleasure. Keep up the good work please. I want to keep watching your videos with the same pleasure as I watched this one.

    So I test drive a 2012 A6 with the 3.0 TSFI motor. It's a thrill to drive but I learned that the 2013 and up models have two display systems that are of much better resolution. The changes to the body are nearly unnoticeable but they did fix the cluttered look with the rear lights and the front grill seems to be better ventilated now.
    The winter package is a nice touch. The rear heated seats are adjustable by 3 levels.
    The suspension on the 2012 & 2013s that I drove was impeccable. Truly incredible by today's standards. Audi drive select/control is well designed.

      +Alexander Chu Did the fix the pixelated look of the rear view camera? I was very shocked when I test drove this car a few weeks ago at the terrible quality of that.Other than that I love the car.

      It's not that pixelated when you switch into backup cam. What might be causing the issue with the 2012 models is the fact that those came with lower grade screens or perhaps the owner of the car didn't upgrade is operating software.

      Alexander Chu I'll have to drive another and see. The camera was the worst I'd ever seen. I couldnt believe it. I decided it didnt really matter being as tho u only look at it a few seconds lol

    Very good and detailed review. I would have liked to see how it drives on rough roads, potholes, firmness of driving etc.

    In what way exactly was this review "Booooring!"? This is the most detailed car review style I have ever seen because it relates to the daily use of key features of the car's tech package. Where else can you get this level of info unless you book some time with a local dealership? Mr Gordon occupies this otherwise unchecked niche extremely well.

    Your ears and our ears agree. For $6k it should have a lot more bottom end available. The subs in it get muddy at even moderate volumes when playing anything with heavy bass track. The base Audi (Bose?) stereo might not be as bright, but is a better listen.

    Great review Kevin. Looking forward to your coverage of the new 2014 E Class. Who has the best voice recognition system today if not Audi?

    The more I see the Audi A6 the more I like it. I know this car does have a Supercharged V6 pushing 300+ HP, so how is it on gas? (Fuel efficiency is not my top priority, but its good to know).
    Also, how is it to maintain? Is it reliable?

    It is because it doesn't sound great and we have covered it specifically in other reviews. Take a look at our channel for this and other cars with B&O systems. We have yet to find one that is worth the asking price.

    Hi Gordon, Now that the 2013 a6 is in the market...can you briefly tell me whats the difference between 12 and 13 ? i plan to go for the prestige 3.0 too but maybe minus the B&O , night vision package .

    Would this tech package still work well with an Android phone? Also, does the iPhone connection work with a standard iPod? The new iPhones have a new plug (big surprise)....

    One question. Did the sport package beat you up much or was it rather smooth? I noticed that you said you forgot to take it out of Dynamic mode and the camera was rather jumpy. It just looked like you felt every minor bump in the road. I just test drove a 2014 A6 TDI without the sport package on 18" rims and it was oh-so-smooth. Scary bit is I quickly got it up to 110 mph and didn't feel much in the way of driving response. It felt like driving a limo. Not that I have any experience with driving a limo...

      @xtntxex 9 років тому

      Don't know if your still looking but just bought a 2012 3.0t and the dynamic mode is great. It definitely gets a "tighter" feel but otherwise is still pretty smooth. Even with it off it's surprisingly agile and responsive. I thought it was better then the bmw 535xi personally but thats just me.

      I am looking into the 2012 A6 mainly because I want isolation from road feel, cabin silence, and seat comfort for long driving periods. Would you say this is a top car when it comes to smooth ride and comfort?

    • @xtntxex
      @xtntxex 9 років тому

      +Alexander Chu It is an extremely comfortable ride. I've only taken it on a trip once that was 10 hours going to and coming back and never got sore or uncomfortable. If you plan on doing long trips the A6 is a fantastic choice. The only thing I recommend is try to get a certified pre-owned because it is practically like buying brand new but only at a half the price.

      I have an A6 without the sport package, and I totally recommend it. It rides like butter but still has well dialed in handling.

    Probably not for a while with the new model arriving late this year and not in the US until 2014.

      Autosavant question about the startup. When starting the vehicle is there a specific package needed in order for the folding mirrors and steering wheel to automatic move?

    I think Audi has some of the most striking cars on the road right now, but I just can't get onboard with those cheap uninspiring interiors. In fact, all german car interiors seem to take on that conservative method of design.
