Also, use the tape on scars. It really does work to make them not as noticeable. I also use it over wounds i get at work since im a jeweler and i need to make sure metal dust doesnt get in and they help the wounds heal much more quickly.

I got really bad dry flaky patches on my cheeks. And can't use many products like oils, due to having perioral dermatitis. So what I did was use a gentle moisturizer + cerave repair ointment on cheeks, then put those patches under saran wrap for the night. Worked miracles. Dry patches were in much better state

It sounds weird, but yes using saran wrap on face. A reusable silicone mask would also work, but they are not available in my country. To avoid the issues that come with excess moisture I do this seldomly. Wrapping only the patches until the repair ointment has taken effect better, like couple hours, and then let my skin breathe. Has worked for me personally

I don't know about the effect acne scars since I have eczema. So I would say to do this like a half an hour or an hour, until the repair ointment has absorbed better. That way you can see how it works. And to prevent excess moisture and more damage. Best of luck to you! :)

It also holds those muscles somewhat still while you sleep, lessening the effect of the expressions that cause the wrinkling.
A lot of it happens while we sleep. The patches give the skin a break from the constant creasing which forms wrinkles.

That stuff has so many great uses!
    Scars
    Wounds of practically all kinds
Covering nips, skin imperfections, tattoos under semi sheer clothing (the lack of enough color diversity however is criminal imo)
It can help with callous removal by softening the area up ahead of time
I put them on my ashiest spots when lotion and butters don't get the job done
My sister used them while pregnant to minimize the look of stretch marks (which I guess are a type of scar now that I think about it)
And apparently wrinkles to a degree
I love stuff with multiple uses

But I did notice that my lips were squished when I was sleeping on my side. I have tried and tried to retrain myself to sleep on my back, but even if I fall asleep on my back, which is difficult cause it’s just not comfortable to me, but I always wake up on my side.

Yep! Keep using tape on your forehead. I am 45 years old and have been a lifelong side sleeper. It finally caught up to me in my late 30’s and I started getting a really bad crease in between my eyes from it. Started using tape between my eyes at night around 3-4 years ago, and now the wrinkle looks better than it did when I was in my 30’s. As long as I tape religiously, every single night, the deep indentation that was there four years ago, stays at a very fine line.

Say what you want but not creasing my forehead in my sleep has absolutely slowed down that aspect of the aging process. How is it temporary and not a solution when you’re basically freezing your forehead for 8-10 hours of the day? Botox does the same thing but with more risks and higher cost. And you’re not atrophying your muscles and causing wrinkles to worsen once you miss an injection because you’re still using your muscles the rest of the day. I see a huge difference on the off night I forget to put it on.

My derm has told me that my forehead muscles are super strong and get alot of use lol so anything I can do to help minimize some of that unnecessary movement & “frowning” I’m here for!! It’s definitely not getting rid of my lines but it helps not have my “11’s” permanently furrowed either!

Im 41 and look very young like everyone think Im my 23 olds son gf or sister. Im thankful not to have any lines or wrinkles yet and I have never done anything or stuck to skincare routine would out of blue put on some skincare but I sleep in make up and do all the no nos and hasn't done anything. I never had break outs as teen or adult or anything like zits and my 4 sons havent either. I retired from military (cbrn turned doctor when in )few years ago and know spent lot of time sweaty and dirty or in camo paint and glad didn't have any skin issues. I don't know if any products actually work well. But I did once get talked into buying over 17k in products and a 10k red light from some high end place and have yet to use them but my husband did use one of products for eyes and definitely helped him and swears by it but is 1000s to buy another bottle and haven't yet bought that one again but have several other products from them I guess he will have to try. I see so many younger people looking so much older these days and not in a good way. I wonder what it is and know few are from doing treatments like fillers and such but many havent and still do. I guess genetics have some to do with it cause my whole family is same like me and guess got lucky on that one. But even when do look older wouldn't do the things to keep looking young. I think would be fine aging naturally. My great grandmothers and grandmothers were so beautiful and would glady look like them. My mom is in her late 50s but looks and acts like 30s and active and has very busy social life I laugh that she has more going on than we do.

NOT exactly true... The tape ALSO prevents you from frowning, and certainly makes you aware, if you are doing it - which is what causes frown lines - and IF you can teach yourself to stop frowning - Hey presto, problem solved! If you do have frown lines, then put some wrinkle cream directly IN the wrinkle, before and after the tape. Try it out, it can really make a difference! And if you sleep on your side, fold your pillow, so your face is almost off the pillow, facing slightly downward. Not as hard as it might sound 😊

  • @HollyLuYa94

I will never understand why some people believe in these things. If using 'tape' would get rid of wrinkles then there wouldn't be plastic surgery and Botox for it lol. Yeah, it might temporarily give you the look of minimized wrinkles, but it's only temporary and it's definitely not worth the money. You're better off using that money on botox or a retinol treatment that can give you better and longer lasting results.
