Thank you for posting a practical video of off road performance. So many videos are lame, blah, blah, blah. Your's showed the way most people like me will use it and drive it.
I've never ridden in the 3 model. Does the 3 share the same under seat heat issue as the 5? If you've ridden in competing models how would you rate the sound vs others? One of my biggest complaints is noisy rides.
2022, they redesigned a few things, getting rid of the heat issue that they were having. As far as noise goes, I believe the Honda Pioneer has fewer decibels going out, but it is, however, still noticeably loud.
The new 3 and 5s have come a long way. They have now put heat protection between the engine and seat, which cuts down extensively on the heat issue. I've been in several sxs, and I have to say that it is less noisy then the competition. Do keep in mind it's still a sxs so it wont be as quiet as a car or suv.
I had it in for routine oil change under the maintenance package, and they put an inexperienced guy on it who didn't tighten the oil plug and nobody checked his work. Later that evening my wife and I jumped in it for a short ride when it lost all oil and was toast.

Nope, I made them take the blame for it because I had evidence. As soon as the Pioneer started acting up I started to record everything, when I got it to stop I recorded the oil pissing out of the spot where the oil plug should be. It was determined they did not torque it to spec and they had to buy the machine back at what I owed. I haven't gotten anything else because I've been traveling the US for the last 4 months with my family.

I'm glad you liked it. I figured most people would be using the Pioneer the same way, so I wanted it to be real-world and practical.

Let me guess, it rides no different than the 2016, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, models?
The ride is actually better, Honda made improvements on the suspension of the base model l.
