Man, that badass. I’ve had several 3800s but never a supercharged one. With the manual transmission, I can’t imagine how much fun that thing is. Very nice.
I learned to drive on a 2000 Grand Prix GT. Biggest mistake my parents ever made. Hard to explain the satisfaction I got from dusting the punks I went to school with in their tricked out Civics off the red lights......and doing it in my MOTHER'S car.

Very clean build bro. The Grand Prix in this body style is a beautiful machine. That red is one of the best colors. The manual trans is like extra fudgy icing on top. The lack of gaudy accessories is a sigh of relief. Idk why these cars seem to be magnets for AutoZone body seam chrome trim and fake chrome port holes on the fender. Your car is immaculate.

you shifted way to early in second the gear is not that short you gotta let it spin and then shift once it actually grips up man! let her smack limiter a little if she does and let her spin till she grips up and THEN shift to 3rd, should pull way harder. practice makes progress so just keep trying and you should be able to destroy cars in a dig
Awesome job. I need a diagram of that supercharger bracket. So I can put my vortech on my grand am. My engine is fully built and all I'm missing is a bracket for the supercharger. Keep up the good work.
Bro is pushing 575hp at an F23 and it is taking it! Damn, everyone who told me 10 years ago that an F23 wouldn't hold up in a W-body can go suck eggs. A stock 4T65E-HD would have shit the bed long, long ago. How much could an F23 hold up to if it was cryo-treated or something?
GM was NUTS in the 90z. I had a Sunfire GT. Speedo also only went to 110mph, which could be done in 4th Gear. How they thought that makes sense in a GP is Loco. 😂
9:10 You gotta let it bounce off the rev limited 1 to 2 times in 2nd gear to gain a little more ground speed before shifting so it doesn't bog in 3rd. Same as the Honda guys launching then sitting on limiter in 1st and 2nd gear because it's spinning but will bog with a 3rd gear grab unless ground speed is high enough.
That "let it spin" tactic for FWD is generally used on 4 cylinders that lack torque-like a B16 powered Honda. He had a couple runs where the shift into 3rd was perfect and the car's torque just kept it pulling along. If bogging got to be an issue, I'd be tempted to suggest curing it with a small nitrous kit maybe like a 50 shot.
you just need a VERY grippy front tire, perfect 1st gear, shift at the VERY LAST moment get all you can out of first, quickshift into 2nd.. plant your foot. it will bounce off rev limiter a few times say 3 or 4 times.. by then you will have gained the wheelspeed needed to not bog third. do this on a warm tire and you would be surprised at the difference.. clock it you will see. Im not a muscle car guy but my pops was, i respect it keep it up dude looks and sounds great :D
