The Library was originally supposed to be on the corner of Memorial Drive and Boylston Street near Harvard Square. Boylston in Cambridge is now JFK Street and the site now hosts the Kennedy School of Government.

The library is truly brilliant and the ocean view is stunningly gorgeous. Mr.Pei was a phenomenal architect with great vision.
Mr. Pei was a brilliant man, well versed, & above all, honorable.
But unfortunately a horrible architect who made ugly buildings. Too bad he did not choose a different profession.
