You dont have to recode just run it though an ai. Have it run simulations continuously optimizing the code. Over time it will get more and more refined. This is honeslty incredible. It's like a childhood fantasy come true. And I love how out of all of the insanely difficult things he had to do, he only used one clip for the voice synthesizer. 😅
Very cool! I love your dedication. I'd like to see the same thing, but for real animals in real life! The advantages of playing pokedex with real animals is that they are more plentyful than Pokemon, and more varied, so you can play longer! In Pokemon there are 1025 species, which is A LOT. But on earth there is 8.7 million! Also they are more real, compared to Pokemon. That means you can see them with your eyes, as well as through the camera, and sometimes touch them. Another aspect is that the looking for them would be more of an adventure. You would need to know a bunch of stuff about eagles to be able to find one. Or you might need to explore a creepy basement to find the last spider on your list. The difficulty of finding rare poke.. animals is a bit higher, but I'm sure the effort will be a lot of fun 🌟
That's pretty damn cool! V2 should be more like the national dex in the games, scroll through a list of all the Pokemon and each time you scan one it fills it in.
2:55 "you'll notice i'm being very delicate with these screens" *proceeds to dump everything else out of the model without a care literally 3 secs later*
the ultimate flex would be to have Image identification, the Pokemon Index, and vocal synthesis running locally on the device. A local model for Pokemon identification probably wouldn't be too resource intensive I'd imagine.
Gotta be honest, The fact that this is even possible to be real, let alone actually *is* real, is a testament to just how far technology has come since the start of pokemon This is honestly kinda insane, and

OMG THE OG TIGER ELECTRONICS VERSION OF THE TOY!!!!.....;-; nostalgia....I had one, loved it dearly.
wow the amount of effort to create a childhood memory gadget was superb. good job!
Very good idea, and its working!
To upgrade: more info about Pokemon
And it off to someone that will finish the project and make it perfect.
Good start.
honestly with all these new generations I've missed I feel like I actually do need this
this is incredible. im like super impressed. honestly making me want to learn how to code, good work
2:55 "you'll notice i'm being very delicate with these screens"
*proceeds to dump everything else out of the model without a care literally 3 secs later*
You should really release this project so that someone else can continue it. I am sure ppl will love to have one. Great job BTW!
the ultimate flex would be to have Image identification, the Pokemon Index, and vocal synthesis running locally on the device. A local model for Pokemon identification probably wouldn't be too resource intensive I'd imagine.
4:02 ‘four screws…three screws’ had me dead. also awesome build and video ofc
This is incredible! You’re a freaking genius dude, I’d totally buy one of these
Thank you so much, I don’t plan to sell them but I still appreciate it!
Gotta be honest, The fact that this is even possible to be real, let alone actually *is* real, is a testament to just how far technology has come since the start of pokemon
This is honestly kinda insane, and
