When did dispatcher suppost to not take this seriously. Instead of giving advice get thr cops out there and just document everything. Dont take life or death advice from a dispatcher they've listened to people dying and then contact police because they are so caught up into talking and wanting to tell the person on the phone what to do. These Policing jobs are seeked out by the exact people you dont want doing the job . And they choose people that they know are like them. We need a revamp on police from top to bottom.
