Apartment complexes here really suck !! We were paying $1600 for a 950 sqft subpar apartment. This year when our lease was up they raised our rent to $1950. Plus they will nickle and dime you another $100 for trash, sewage, pest control, and utility or admin charges. Of course there are cheaper options like the renews etc but I have heard really bad about them. Buying a house will be our next move because paying $24000 in rent every year is like throwing money away.
You are absolutely right. If you plan it out early enough, you can get a really good deal and save yourself some money. Most of the apartment complexes out here are owned and managed by the same company. Once rates start going up, they try to get the most they can.
@@williamdieffenbach3264 Residence at Midland Definitely not worth $2000 imo. Master bedroom stays hot because hardly any air comes out of the airducts. Maybe its a faulty design or something. Maintenance guys are awesome though. Always polite and helpful.
$2700 a month: Paid off 18 year old car, gas, insurance, rent at a 6.5 out of 10 apartment, cell phone, food (Walmart name brand items), water, electricity, very basic leisure, healthcare deduction with company, 401k deduction with employee, and internet.
i would like to move out of my state, somewhere quieter and away from everyone. im in florida currently, and was told texas has a lower cost of living. but i dont intend to buy a house anytime soon. id like to know if midland is really only suitable for homeowners, or if i can just get an apartment, work, and go to doctors appts like normal, but at a lower cost than where i am..?
It’s all relative but Midland does have one of the lower cost of living ratings in the state. You have good options when it comes to renting. Lots of apartments now as well as houses for rent.
Hello friend! I live and work in the oil and gas industry in Russia. I'm thinking of moving to Midland. Can you tell me how things are with employment? What specialists are needed, vacancies, and in general, I want to know about the oil and gas industry from the inside. Can you make a video about it? I think it would be interesting not only for me.
Lots of jobs here. All restaurants need workers. Also it would not be a bad idea to intern as well. That is a great way to get your foot in the door at any good company. The main key is that you work hard and want to learn.
Thank you for sharing this information,. This is very helpful.Looking to move to Big Spring Texas. What are your thoughts about big Spring. Thank You for all you do.

no one WANTS to move to midland. it sucks here. like....really sucks. well, mostly sucks. mostly the landscape. also, apartments are really expensive. guess all the oil field guys rent and therefore increases the rental rates. crazy. crapy 40 year old 1 bed apartment for 1100-1200/month. expensive for most areas in TX.
People are making the move here left and right. Have you thought about buying a house and taking advantage of the rental market? Get some of that passive income with the sting rental rates here.
hello Jacobe thank you for the videos I been watching your vedeos and the are very good I just want to ask you how is the wheater in Odesa? I live in NYC but my son is asking me to move to Texas I just worry about the tornatoes
We have not had a tornado in Midland or Odessa in a very long time. I’ve lived here since 1984 and we’ve never had one come through either town and destroy anything. There are tornadoes in the area but we’ve never had one hit Midland or Odessa since I’ve been alive.

Min. 2:38 and forward: A gallon of milk for just $3.29? Here in Puerto Rico, "Half a Gallon" of milk is $3.99!
😮 I guess there is a trade off for the weather and the beach 😂

That’s a good suggestion. We’ll get to work on something. Maybe an interview with some of the oil companies. Thanks for the suggestion.
Corrosion techs were needed. But we are at war with you, kind of.
Way too expensive. I'll stay here in Indiana.
Glad the video was helpful. Some people move then find out it’s too much.
