Bowhunting River Bucks in Arkansas with Clay Newcomb | Buck Truck
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 жов 2024
- Tyler and K.C. head out on the road for a southern Whitetail experience with their buddy Clay Newcomb in Arkansas. This roadtrip has a heavy dose of deer hunting nostalgia combined with excellent food, great friends, and some of the wildest country you’ll find in the southern US. Wet conditions and hunting pressure prove to make this expedition difficult, but with some southern ingenuity and grit the fellas find a way to get on the deer.

Man it’s humbling when our dads know exactly how to fix something over the phone lol
The day will come when I won’t be able to place that call anymore…
Hate that.
Clays little rant about black bears and hibernation was awesome, learned a lot from that
I wanna hold a baby black bear now
I hope the buck truck continues! The meat eater brand just seems to be more personable to me than other hunting videos that I watch.
There's another episode coming this Friday!
Guy on the ground has the most deer encounters. Gotta love Arkansas, the deer walking around looking up in the trees.
Same in MS
Damn never thought about that
Yep had a big 11 on the ground on Arkansas public land. Couldn’t get a shot
@@jordaneason5658it’s insane how hard a bow shot is to execute on the ground. Stands are a luxury😂
@@jordaneason5658I messed up this morning actually!
The message at the end is what we need more of in this world! Go be men to the world around you! What an episode!
Thanks brother! Salt and Light. Matt 5
Not saying I want you guys to struggle but cool seeing professionals like you go through the same struggles I am going through as a novice. It’s really easy to get discouraged or frustrated and impatient. Even cooler to see you rewarded! Good job guys! Keep up the hard work!
Northeast Arkansas here. Love seeing some light shined on the state. Awesome!
Love the buck truck! Arkansas seems like a great public land state!
Clay performs the best around his people. Great episode, guys!
Thanks man! Hope to hunt with Clay again soon. He's a great guy to share camp with.
CLAY cracks me up so much. They need to keep that guy hunting with other people in a party. He just plays off others so well.
You could see the excitement in clays eyes when he realized that was a black bar!!!! Love this series!!! All great hunters and all great men!! Huge fan of the buck truck💪💪🤘🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️
Thanks Brian! New episode this Friday!
Redemption in the end….nice big old doe. I said it before…i love meateater and have been a fan since the beginning….but this BUCK TRUCK series is my favorite.
Let's Go Brad!!!!
This series Deserves more love I live on the east coast like a lot of hunters do hunting whitetail is all we really have
Thanks man!
You really should take a vacation/hunting trip out west. Coming from a southerner.
Buck truck with clay is awesome!! Love this series.
I've watched five or six Buck Trucks now, out of order as they pop up in my feed, and am happy to finally see Tyler make a good shot. You guys are doing the hardest hunting out there. Congrats.
Excellent video. I love Clay and his tidbits of knowledge. And you Element guys are so relatable. Its so refreshing to see a guy get excited about shooting a doe. Well done!
Thank you brother!
I fucking love meat eater. Please keep them coming. Add more of cooking and skinning the animals as well. I wanna learn as much as i can before i actually start to train to hunt different animals.
What state you in?
Seeing a black bear, while deer hunting, and hearing mallards skirt the tree tops. Man that’s why I love my home state.
Why is the urge to go hunting so much stronger when watching these right after the season is over?
Love the amount of meat eater videos being posted
Pure excitement from Alberta 🇨🇦
Amateur photographer here! Born and raised in Clarendon and still live here. Would love to come shoot a hunt for you guys next time you’re here! No charge!
The south is a struggle!!! Big timber and swamps…I can relate! Great video
LOTS of public land hunters makes for some tough hunting here, especially with a bow!!! I give you props just for giving it a go, let alone scoring a doe and the rare black bear spotting! Good luck this season
Paused at 10:10... Clay! You got a big noggin hero. Only 3 nubbs holding that 5 gallon on.
We have that in common my friend. Ain't just air up there and that's why.
Dang another Newcomb hat I need to have!
That area looks mighty familiar Clay 😂😂 I love hunting around them areas on the public lands. Just so much natural resources for all kinds of game. I hunt mainly Northern Arkansas now, but will be venturing down to southern Arkansas more a few times this year and my main hunting next year. Great video fellas.
Stoked these are back!!
Keep the awesome videos coming fellas! Love your content, can't wait for the new season to start! By far the best hunting, fishing, trapping outdoor adventure & cooking show/brand !
Great work! Tough hunt boys
That looked like fun, rugged trips make great memories.
I guarantee ya!
Love me some Buck Truck! This episode should have been named the Buck Boat!!
So cool y’all got in with Scott. He is a great man!
Great episode and great message at the end. Looked like a really fun hunt!
I’ve been hunting zone 12 in Arkansas for 19 years and never seen a black bear! Legendary! Especially outside of the stocked population up north by clay!
Zone 12 here as well.
I hunt that same area. There was just enough in the video to let me know exactly where y'all were. Great place to hunt, no other place I would rather be. Nice video guys!
that side by side getting stuck on that atv trail was easy to spot 😂 gotta love wr
Thanks for sharing your videos and keep them coming please.
We almost had a Warden Episode with Clay killed me. Absolute what it means to be a conservationist.
Gald dang meateater rips!
Can’t wait to see how this video goes
Great episode guys .
I have family in Fort Smith. So cool to see a hunt so close to home. You guys ever hunt in Oklahoma. I can walk to some of the best waterfowl reserve in Oklahoma open to public hunting.
We have! We actually have a video from Oklahoma in this series. ua-cam.com/video/F0YKhrYN9Ns/v-deo.html
Those were some stud bucks! Wow!
Dadgummit, I love this stuff!
Great episode watched on my wifes account gonna go watch a week in the rut or something i just seen below this video, i love seeing two of my fav people or groups together doin a thing
Thank you, David! we appreciate you watching.
Cool video! Great shot Tyler.
love what you guys are doing! keep it going!
I love the fist lite camo i grew out of mine sadly
Better get a bigger size! It's Whitetail Week right now. A lot of stuff in Specter on sale.
And as always, great content.
"I was about to fight y'all" Lmao
He's a brawler in real life.
I can’t wait to do this with my son, and best bud
This is just in time for me to watch on my lunch break
@26:12 not enough folks know to take that sticker off and properly use the can call... Nice work
Clay makes me proud to be in the Bear state, but y’all are at the better side of the state than he normally resides
I could hear Gary “believer” Newcomb’s disappointment from here😂😂
Thank goodness for the black bear 🐻 allowing you enough content to download a video.
“Good aim.”
“Nice.”
“Niceee.”
“Good, visual”
“nice dog, hunters.”
24:30 just goes to show that even though technology is great it can sometimes be a crutch and it’s always good to be able accurately estimate ranges yourself
It's a valid point. However, if you're shooting a heavier arrow, 2 yards is the difference in missing and smoking him.
Perfect set up to use a decoy.
Clay is the best!!
Looks like a blast
You know its dead when you hear that sound.
The thing with the bleet can is that standard flip and sound he kept using is a distress bleet. Not the in heat bleet. Probably why that one got spooky instead of coming in. If he didn’t just see them. You gotta jiggle if back and forth a bit while you turn it. Look it up.
Facts. Thsts why i quit using it
Y’all have put more ads in this video than the Super Bowl
?? I didn't see a single ad. I use an ad blocker. That's UA-cam, not Meateater.
@@jonathonmcmillan9410 they get paid off of how many ads they put in their videos and how many views they get correct?
Firstlite bought up the whitetail world. Advertising is out of control. Im sure they will be in Walmart next year. Time to switch brands.
Use brave browser: no ads 😉
Man you guys were finding the deer, would’ve been sweet to fill your buck tags.
Hey now... looks like I need to buy another hat! That FLASHY MULE Firstlite hat looks sweet
If Clay showed up and ate all your enchiladas all that means is you did not have enough enchiladas.
As someone whose traveled a good amount with a bunch of hunting buddies, I know the inside of that trucks smells like a bad fart. Good luck this season guy!
Hit the nail on the head!!!!!
That boat has seen its better days but it's been a good one
Great segment.
These guys are cool. I think they did a nilgai hunt that got taken down because one of them they shot took a few arrows and wouldnt go down but They are awesome hunters who work hard
You know clay was drooling when he saw that bear on camera
HAHA, this is why you don't buy ANY belt driven atv! Honda only! Love this episode. Where I hunt in LA is just like this.
Hyped that these are back!
Nice 👏👏👏👍
Buck Truck with a Doe Tow! 👍
The 3 amigos need to come hunt with me in Baraga county, upper peninsula of Michigan
When you're hunting public that has a lot of access going deep isn't always the right call it's better to find places other people over look I've shot nice buck less than a 100yrds from a heavily used 4wheeler trail you really only have to go deep if there's only a couple of access points
Last year killed a nice 8pt less than 200 yards from the road an 60 yards from the 4 wheeler trail..had 2 hunters walk thru shortly before 2 separate times on the trail justa splashin water.
We all know the deep seething panic that overtakes a man of any age when he has to call his father and tell him he fucked up something he recently borrowed 🤣😅
First time i have seen a 2 stroke yamaha with blue and not red decals
Clay’s driving: not Garry Newcomb approved.
Awesome vid. I shouldn't have to watch 10 or more ads to see this though. That's pretty high or am I going a little looney?
That's a lot. I'm sorry it's that way, but that's youtube's way of providing otherwise free videos.
His mercy is more! 🙏🏼 Amen
Gotta run them Rangers in low gear when you're stuck or going slow Clay!
Clay needed to ride a flashy mule back in there instead of a SXS.
Love the Texas dudes
They seemed to have refined the Buck Truck formula a bit. This was WAY better than the previous episodes. No stupid antics, horrible shots, etc.
Y’all boys should grabbed a bag of those pork rines with those ice creams 😎
There's something nice about watching guys hunt whitetail the way i wish i could afford. Instead im a Michigander living in Utah, squaring mule deer while i hunt Grouse. Really missing my michigan combo tag more than I'd realized i would.
Awesome stuff. Weird to drag a deer more than 100 ft though. Quarter, bag and backpack that thing out.
Someone get that boy a bino harness.
So he stops complaining about not being to range deer because of fog and mud
did he say tree's have feet?
Transmission is fine you just got water on the belt. Its a belt drive like a snowmobile haha
The belt was slipping on the clutch when it got wet. Dad either needs a snorkel or a belt box seal, maybe both.
I've only been in Arkansas for 3 years now and I'm learning this new whitetail thing.....HELP!! 🤣🥴🦌
Water in the clutch housing. It’ll be all set. Open it up and dry it out.
I wanna move to Arkansas soo bad
Is there a Michigan episode of buck truck?
Nope. Should we go there?
@@TheElementWild I think it would be cool
is KC shaving off Tylers eyebrows when he goes to sleep? lol
14:30 ish bro that sounds like a Sasquatch. I’ve heard a bunch of calls and mimics. What bird is that?
39:54 them specks woulda got an arrow slung lol
