I know this is so late and 4 years later but I absolutely agree 100% and I always kind of wondered the same thing like Bob was saying at 40:06-40:40 because even as someone who has not lived that experience, it always baffled me that somehow people would assume that they knew something wasn’t true when they would have never been in a position to have experienced it firsthand in the first place- like WHY WOULD LITERALLY AN ENTIRE SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF OUR FELLOW AMERICANS BE UNIFIED IN SAYING THAT THIS INCREDIBLY APPALLING AND INFURIATING PROBLEM (to say the very least) EXISTS AND IS PREVALENT IN OUR SOCIETY IF IT DOESN’T AND IT’S NOT REALLY HAPPENING???????? And why would anyone else be the authority on that truth OTHER THAN the portion of society uniquely experiencing it and impacted by it????!?!!!!!
