There is no such thing as "too boring to watch". This is how our ancestors survived. These long form videos are great, keep making them. Thank you.

I don't usually mind the slower pace of these type of videos. It gives a better appreciation for the amount of skill and effort that goes into such projects.

Arkansas - Ar- can- saw is how to pronounce my home state. It’s a Cado word means downstream people. The novaculite comes from the Ouchita Mountains which is part of the Ozark Mountain Range.

Please put your mind at ease from worrying about whether what you're filming is "boring", it isn't. There isn't anyone I've seen on UA-cam doing what you are doing and it's so refreshing and interesting. So, it may seem dull to you, and sure it may not be everybody's cup of tea, but for everyone like me I absolutely love it and even wish your videos were longer! Keep being you, keep up the great work.

Love your videos Will ; the youtube algorithm is not predictable at all - it truly is not your fault if you get sudden bursts of interest then a low period of attention for some time. Of course shorter snappy videos will get a more guaranteed higher view count but overall It signals to me that youtube is artificially promoting and de-promoting recommended videos to users on a whim etc. 100K subscribers and other channels of similar size I see go through similar periods then will suddenly get higher views with a video later on .... Its the problem of 2023 - You cannot naturally understand the way it is advertising channels as we do not control the coders at google (youtube)

Damn, Will... this was anything but boring! I was memorized by your own applied skill and concurrent revelations of the efficiencies of ancient skillsets, and the effectiveness of the technologies, and the materials usefulness all magically brought back to life for us all to witness!!! Just WOWZ, and thank you for this journey back in time!!! I was just thinking about you and wonderind why I hadn't gotten any new notifications - I was just getting ready to check your channel listing!
BTW: The knife and sheath are just _stunning,_ for real!

Exactly, will as another person mentioned in comments, nothing is boring.
If your not into it ,10min is boring. I could watch 2,3,4,5,hour videos.
As long as its showing us ,or telling us something interesting.
And let's face it,it's all fkn interesting.
The world is full of rude ,scared frightened people. It's fascinating that story of the leather lost on that ship. Anymore super interesting stuff.
The best of health to you my friend.

But that’s ok and we need the information.

@@WillLordPrehistoricSurvival It worked, I used the pendulous sedge I cut and dried from the summer. Instead of rolling it like with Nettle stems, I parted the leaves into 3mm strips and plaited them together. So far I've made 3 meters of cordage so far, it's very pliable and strong. I'll have to make a video and link you to it so you can have a look.
