Living in the UK no one has ever even heard of Norm. They still haven't. One day he popped up on my UA-cam about 5 years ago. I thought this guy is funny, I had trouble trying to understand him at first but the more I listened the easier it became. Then I slowly realised I had stumbled accross an absolute comedy genius. All of a sudden I couldn't get enough of Norm. He really was the funniest guy on the planet. There is no doubt in my mind I was lucky enough to discover this giant among comedians. I look at who we are left with, none of them are anywhere near his level. He went and died on us and left us with all the bronze medalists. I look at the shit shower of woke arsehole comedians that we get on British mainstream TV. I feel like writing to the BBC and saying FFS your comedians are shit, tell them to watch Norm McDonald and at least see how it should be done. You've definitely got better comdeians over there in the US because they have all heard of Norm and if they are smart they'll learn from him. But they are not even getting the silver. Norm has ruined comedy for me. There is no one to take his place. Luckily there are still gems like this video that still keeps popping up. People throw around GOAT too much but Norm really is the definition of it. He is the best there has ever been and now he's gone.
Brian Regan is a good one and Norms favorite along with Dave Chappelle. Theo Von's this past weekend is good podcast (when he's solo), Nate Bergatze's stand-ups not bad love the older stuff, but my absolute favorite is Norm's obscure radio interviews. He has my favorite mind since we've been able to record audio and there is no close second.
@longtallshorty5791 you'd have to see how bad British "comedy" is to appreciate what he means. Political correctness has destroyed comedy. There are women, doing stand up comedy, WOMEN! It's horrific. They have a disabled woman doing stand up in a wheelchair. She is not funny, at all.
Crazy that this was right before Hurricane Ike, and he makes a joke about it killing everyone. Being from Houston, i remember the devastation that it caused. But it still wasnt as tragic as Norm's death.
I remember when there were very few stand up sets from Norm around. Love the fact that loads of these are popping up now…..just a shame it happened after he died (would much prefer no sets and him still being with us)
They say never to never, but there's a chance there will never have someone as naturally as funny as Norm Macdonald. Not a pretentious bone in his body, just myriad funny material that is more like a hysterical conversation rather than a routine.
was harder to bootleg stuff back then and i'm pretty sure while he was on SNL and doing movies in the 90's he did a lot less stand up because he was busy with the other stuff. also from what i have seen from his 90's stuff, it's good but i personally like his later stuff a million times better. but if i find anything i will 10000% upload it! thanks for the suggestion
@@bubbyberry would you happen to know where I can listen to the full set of where the 16 min clip of “Norm’s Filthiest Jokes” comes from? It has some funny reactions from I think the guy recording and some disgusted woman sitting nearby and I love hearing how ppl react to Norm’s fatal gut punches.
Bro how did you get this huge collection of norm sets? You're like the library of norm. TBH they should have just hit you up and made a collage instead of that zoom set on netflix.
I remember hearing about the “to catch a predator” bit on Dennis Millar where Norm kept not wanting to do it because Dennis kept bringing it up. Hilarious to finally hear it
I think Norm toured with Stevie Ray Frompstein just because of his name... Basically, he could say that he did a bunch of gigs with Stevie Ray. Now regarding Kevin Farley, he toured with him just to be nice because that guy is about as anti-funny as it gets.
Norm didn't seem that dedicated to trolling in such a mean way, I think he just likes hanging out with people he likes and promoting then even if no one else cares for them
I'm going to quit my job to listen to Norm bootlegs full time. It's the least I can do.
Me too
Too Good to be True. 💕
I've heard there's a good chance to lose your job if you kill someone
There are some great ones if you search enough.
Did you do it? I think it was a fine idea.
I try to listen every minute of Norm material in existence, like any normal comedy fan.

Was a great comment, until you used the word "woke".
Pretty much. For all that writing to get 11 likes. Oh well, at least he has some friends who join him in slumber

The Norm show was on channel 4 in the late 90s and early 2000s. Been a fan ever since.

Listen to live in Austin. It's outrageous 🎉😮😅
Thank you so much for sharing this, I miss Norm so much I've been binging on Norm clips every day for over a month.

He died
@@pornsakpongthong1092 I didn’t even know he was sick. He seems like a guy that wouldn’t own a dog house.
Same here❗️I JUST started really getting into him about 2 months before he died😪

Thank you for posting!

Amazing Norm!!!
36:03 the To Catch a Predator bit is probably my favourite thing from a comic ever
"My thoughts on to catch a predator, cannot be captured in your soundbite" - Norm Macdonald

This got taken down like 10 years ago. I've been searching for that ostrich bit ever since. So good

You'll never hear 5 seconds of silence followed by a belly laugh, coughing up a lung joke ever again.

funny comedy set thanks for the upload they have to make a meal name of KFC out of Norm Mcdonald, the 10 piece norm mcdonald meal i would buy that.

Someone uploaded a set from that era similar to his infamous Iowa set, you can look it up
Real cut from the rest this one not too much crowd noise and its like norm is speaking into my ear.
