I love Norm so much. I truly believe his passing is a reason Artie, who I pray is doing well, is staying out of the public eye for years now. Can’t believe all those years he had cancer and never told anyone or complained about it. Just a true comedian who wanted to make people laugh and happy as opposed to using his illness to get sympathy points. He’d just disappear while being hospitalized and never came out like “Look at me! I’m a survivor!” That’s a true, man/comedic artist.

That was the thing about Norm, he played the every man but was actually extremely smart. Other people like this include Letterman and Conan, who take on the role of an everyman but do so solely for comedic purposes.
