- How do Swedes discipline their children? 👶 What makes a father choose to go on 'daddy leave'? ❤️ This is Özze, Swedish dad and music producer. He answers your questions about parental leave in this episode of 'Ask a Swede'. 🙋
'The best thing is that you get to truly spend time with your children and really get to know them. It's a fun time because that's the time when they start to develop, they start to walk and then start to observe things differently. I don't want to miss that.' Says our dad.
In Sweden parents are entitled to 480 days of paid parental leave per child. When a child has two parents, 90 days are reserved for each parent and the rest of the parental leave days they can share as they see fit.
'Ask a Swede' is a series of videos where our followers ask the questions. Who else would you like us to interview? Let us know in the comments below.

Hi, here's Polish dad and I'm proud of it :) I also use Swedish classic and it really works :)
Hello, Polish Dad! We're very glad to hear that!
No candy? That's harsh with all the great candy available in Sweden!
We hear you! It's near a national sport! The candy eating that is! So much variety! What's your favourite Swedish candy?
Bra video! Men tycker ni borde läst upp frågorna högt för jag försökte o bara lyssna på videon utan o titta o blev tvungen att kolla över varje gång de blev en ny fråga
Tack för din respons!

Good morning from Lemnos Island Greece 🏖️. I am a Greek dad. I see you my Swedish friend. My best moment is when my daughter is happy and achieve something. Not good when my wife and daughter start nagging. 😑. Then I taste a ouzo with Greek meze 🥗🍉. And I watch videos of Elize Ryd 🇸🇪 singer of amaranthe to [beautiful eyes]. Relax me. Try it my friend [laughs]. Thanks for the conversation. Good morning Sweden ♥️💗🍉🏖️. Stay cool. be strong.....
