Wore my pair for the first time tonight… intervals on the track. They are super comfortable but do not give you that extra boost you seem to feel with the vaporfly’s or other carbon fiber plate shoe. I think they will be a great training shoe for interval workout, and when it comes to racing slide on the vapors for that extra fast race feeling.

Hey Ben, I just started my high school career this past XC season and I have ran a 16:38 as a freshman. And the indoor track season has gone well so far I’ve ran a 4:36 qualifying for nationals in the mile and 9:46 in the 2 also qualifying for Nationals. I am really excited where my journey of running will take me!! With the excitement of your videos I have enjoyed running more and more every single day.

I felt exactly the same. The biggest downside was simply it didn't compete with their own Next%. Otherwise it is a neat and comfortable shoe that can do a lot for less than the other supershoes.

I just started running in mid-September of 2021 after about 60 lb of weight loss. Attempted running previously but always had injuries to slow me down. But now with my weight down I've been able to run consistently. Started off with a weekly mileage of about 5 mi and now I'm up to about 18 mi per week! My main goals for 2022 are to reduce my 5K time to sub 25 minutes, 750 mi for the year, and run my first 10K hopefully in under an hour. I have been loving watching your videos since I started running, they have really helped and pushed me to continue running better and faster. Continue the amazing work you do and good luck with your upcoming marathon!

Looking forward to a full race calender again. And most importantly, Valencia marathon this December where I am going for my long term goal of a Championship qualifier before I turn 40.
My 40th is December 22nd so Valencia will be my one and only shot at the goal. Current PB is 2:47:10, so 7 minutes 11 seconds to find in a year in order to hit the target.
    Game on!!!

3rd marathon at Manchester, on track to take my time down by 1:30:00 ish. Got back into running August 2021. I’m 2 stone lighter than I was with a new outlook on life. Running really changes how you see the world and yourself. Best wishes all in 2022.

Love the videos from you and sarah, watch your hours of content while on the treadmill doing my long runs for this years Brighton marathon. I’ve had Crohn’s disease since I’ve been 15 (now 42) but haven’t let it stopped me, I enjoyed every running event I can do and hoping to do a PB marathon under 3.30 this year and a nice pair of trainers would help! If not me, hopefully someone deserving gets them! Good luck everyone! Jamie

This year I'm most looking forward to heading to the Dolomites this summer to run the Alta Via 1 through the mountains over 4 days! Coming back from 4 weeks of almost no running with a knee injury and Covid has shifted my perspective on running away from training for fast times and towards finding all the joy and beauty I can from the sport I love!

I love the Streakfly much better than the Alphafly and I think they are better than the Vaporfly for shorter road races. I am happy to trade the full carbon plate for the better agility that the Streakfly provides. I ran my best 5k in the Streakfly and am aiming to go sub 20 with them.

If you see these on special, get them! They're perfect for speed sessions and a good way to avoid adding mileage to your race day shoes outside of an actual race. They're good for speed sessions but soon as you run over say 12km you'll start to feel it in your feet as they are low to the ground so like I said if you see them on special get them. I'd say the same for Nike tempos, on special they're so worth it for speed and threshold/tempo runs.

Hi ben great review as always..for this year I think the most I been looking forward to from running is to run free without an injury...2021 is a disaster year for me fill with injury so for this year no PB no races just want a completely injury free and fun running experience again

I’m hoping to try and break the 3 hour mark on my marathon and raise a few quid for my daughters therapy who has cerebral palsy. Love the reviews.

I'm looking forward to... Just getting out there again! I don't have any races lined up but I can't wait to start ramping up my weekly mileage as it gets a little warmer. I'm usually training for half-Marathons and this year I might go for a late-season Marathon.

Melbourne half marathon at the end of the year trying to break 1:25 for the half. Getting fitter and only been running for a year so I have been improving a lot!

    Hi Ben
Awesome video and such a thorough review. I live in Copenhagen, and will be doing my first marathon here come May 15th. Having watched your London Marathon video, I am looking so much forward to running in my home town with all the crowds cheering along. Hopefully one of many marathons to come!
Keep up the good work - Cheers!
