Hello David! Thank you for your entry, I'm pleased to say that the random comment picker has chosen you! Please can you drop me a message via my website (www.benparkes.com) and I'll sort out getting the shoes to you. Congratulations!
I'm mostly looking forward to my Grampa breaking 35 minutes on his 4th parkrun. He's only just started running at 75 years old. His first ever running session was an actual parkrun! He's crazy!
Wore my pair for the first time tonight… intervals on the track. They are super comfortable but do not give you that extra boost you seem to feel with the vaporfly’s or other carbon fiber plate shoe. I think they will be a great training shoe for interval workout, and when it comes to racing slide on the vapors for that extra fast race feeling.
Hey Ben, I just started my high school career this past XC season and I have ran a 16:38 as a freshman. And the indoor track season has gone well so far I’ve ran a 4:36 qualifying for nationals in the mile and 9:46 in the 2 also qualifying for Nationals. I am really excited where my journey of running will take me!! With the excitement of your videos I have enjoyed running more and more every single day.
Hello i'm from malaysia. I'm a 43 years old runner and for this year my running goal is i want to break my record 43m/ 10 km in a race. I already follow this channel from last year and its very interesting and also help me a lot to improve my running. Iwill always support this channel..Keep it up..
3rd marathon at Manchester, on track to take my time down by 1:30:00 ish. Got back into running August 2021. I’m 2 stone lighter than I was with a new outlook on life. Running really changes how you see the world and yourself. Best wishes all in 2022.
I felt exactly the same. The biggest downside was simply it didn't compete with their own Next%. Otherwise it is a neat and comfortable shoe that can do a lot for less than the other supershoes.
I want to become a pro runner in the future in the 5k. I am 13. This year I am hoping to run a 5k in under 19 minutes and a mile this track season in around 5:30 to 5:40. I hope I can win these shoes. :)
I just started running in mid-September of 2021 after about 60 lb of weight loss. Attempted running previously but always had injuries to slow me down. But now with my weight down I've been able to run consistently. Started off with a weekly mileage of about 5 mi and now I'm up to about 18 mi per week! My main goals for 2022 are to reduce my 5K time to sub 25 minutes, 750 mi for the year, and run my first 10K hopefully in under an hour. I have been loving watching your videos since I started running, they have really helped and pushed me to continue running better and faster. Continue the amazing work you do and good luck with your upcoming marathon!
Oooooh! That's exciting you said you'd go down half a size. That would mean it would be perfect for me as I usually run in a 10.5 in Nike (got Vapors and Alphas in my rotation, along with Zoom Fly 3s currently). I'd love to win a pair! So, what am I looking forward to in my running this year? I've got the Milton Keynes 20 miler next Sunday as a warm up race for my A race, which is the Wrexham Elite Marathon towards the end of April. They kindly let me in, so I'm aiming to run the race I'd hoped to run in London last year (which was scuppered by illness in the week leading in to London. I was aiming for sub 2:40 and was in the shape to do it after a HM of 1:17 and a 20 miler in 2 hours dead...sadly, I ended with a disappointing 2:49 when my illness destroyed me from about 22 miles). After Wrexham, I'm all about the shorter distances (5k and 10k) and would LOVE to give the Streakfly some proper efforts and workouts to get my 5k and 10k times down further! Good luck in the draw everyone!
Love the videos from you and sarah, watch your hours of content while on the treadmill doing my long runs for this years Brighton marathon. I’ve had Crohn’s disease since I’ve been 15 (now 42) but haven’t let it stopped me, I enjoyed every running event I can do and hoping to do a PB marathon under 3.30 this year and a nice pair of trainers would help! If not me, hopefully someone deserving gets them! Good luck everyone! Jamie
Looking forward to a full race calender again. And most importantly, Valencia marathon this December where I am going for my long term goal of a Championship qualifier before I turn 40. My 40th is December 22nd so Valencia will be my one and only shot at the goal. Current PB is 2:47:10, so 7 minutes 11 seconds to find in a year in order to hit the target. Game on!!!
This year, i’m going for my high school’s 42 year old 800 m record for 15 years boys at 2:08. Thanks for the most helpful review of the streakfly on youtube!
Hi Ben. Feels like there’s lots to look forward to this year with racing back on - I’m particularly excited about the South Downs Way 50 in April and being able to do lots of park runs with my six year old daughter. Thanks for the great content as always 👍🏻
In 2022 I’m looking forward to breaking the 1:30 mark on the half marathon. It’s going to require 27s off my current PB, so I’ve added the Vaporfly to help get it done!! Thanks Ben, another great video!!
hi ben great review. my goal for 2022 is to break 20 mins in the 5l i have been running 6 months my pb is 21:38 and i feel like the shoes would help me thanks.
Hey Ben, This year will be my first marathon and I want to have a pace of 8 mins per mile so a 3:30 marathon. I bought your racing plan and have been following it for the past 5 weeks. The race is in April 30th here in the US. These shoes look awesome and would love to do some local races in them and see how they do with me!!. Thanks again for all your great videos and everything you do for the running community. I will let you know how I do in my marathon in 10 weeks!!!
I always get something out of your videos. I'm really looking forward to the brighton marathon this year I used your plan last year and got a pb which was 3:07 I couldn't always stick to it but it worked for me cheers Ben
My main running goal for the year is the classic sub 3hr marathon. my secondary goals are sub 1:20 half and sub 16 5k. Thanks for all the amazing content Ben
Hi Ben, I'm looking forward to running my first major marathon in Boston in April after running 3 seconds under qualifying time in Manchester last year in 2:59:57! Love the channel keep up the good work
Running my first marathon this year. I have been following you before you broke your ankle and find your tips incredibly useful, especially the garmen screen setup that I probably would have never known any other way. I find your journey through your recovery and mental health very inspiring and a reminder that it happens to all of us. Keep up your great videos!
Hi Ben. This year I am looking forward to making improvements in my race times. I am looking to get under 4:00 in full marathon. Love your channel which inspires so many people
This year I'm most looking forward to heading to the Dolomites this summer to run the Alta Via 1 through the mountains over 4 days! Coming back from 4 weeks of almost no running with a knee injury and Covid has shifted my perspective on running away from training for fast times and towards finding all the joy and beauty I can from the sport I love!
Just getting back into more committed running after a few years as a weekend warrior - I hadn’t even realised how much I’d missed it. My goal is just to carry on enjoying my running. You and Sarah have been a huge part of hooking me back in; thank you so much!
I'm most looking forward to my last highschool outdoor track season and preparing for college seasons next year. I'm hoping to run around 4:20 in the the mile and 9:40 in the 2 mile this spring.
Hi Ben, I’m 16 years old and from the 🇳🇱 I just started running a few months ago and have been really improving. 5k pr is 17:30 and 10k 36 ish. I always enjoy your good quality videos! This year, I’m ready to improve and win some races! Maybe the streakfly’s will be a good option. Thanks for the great content!
Looking forward to some fast road races with people around... missed those for two years now! Keep on the great reviews! Goal to run my first Marathon and a sub 1:30 half!
Back to running after 7 years - did C25k now working towards HM in May. Did a 10k few weeks ago and PBed in my daily shoes. Enjoying the channel, really nice motivation.
I’m most looking forward to my first ever running races! Started running in 2021, now training for a 10k race, a half marathon and marathon! Running is the best thing that could’ve happened to me and from when I got started till now your channel is my number one channel to go to for any kind of running advice! :) Thank you Ben! Greetings from Germany!
Great content, as always. I’m looking forward to smashing my 5k PR again this year. I’ve only been running 6 years (I’m 46) and I’ve gone from a 26:40 down to 23:49 in the space of three months so I’m aiming for 22 mins this year.
Awesome video Ben. I'm looking forward to being able to run my first half marathon at Beachy Head, Sussex at the end of the year. Running has given me so much, great for my mental well being and for my general health. Also showing my kids that perseverance pays off.
Hi Ben, enjoying your videos a lot, keep up the good work! For me I’m looking forward to two races in 2022: the Rotterdam Marathon in April and the Valencia Marathon in December. Last October I did my first one in 3:23 and I have set myself the goal of running 3:10 in 2022.
This is my first year of actually running… before this year I only ran for sport purposes. I’m absolutely loving it and your channel is giving me a real direction to my running and advice on what to focus on. I’ve already done 3 races and plan on doing at least 1 a month this year with the biggest plan being a Half Marathon in September 💪🏻
Love the content of this channel. I've really only got into running in the last half year so my goals this year are to increase my weekly mileage from about 10 to 20 miles a week and to run a 5k under 21:45.
Hi Ben, this year is all about building my base miles up, trying to break the sub 1:30 barrier for a half, and then looking ahead at some longer mileage races for next year!
Melbourne half marathon at the end of the year trying to break 1:25 for the half. Getting fitter and only been running for a year so I have been improving a lot!
Hey Ben! Australian viewer here. I’m looking forward to my first race ever in May and breaking the 20-min 5k barrier this year (currently 21:02). Both have been life goals of mine (23M) since I started a year ago and I’ve really been working on upping my mileage and session quality. Your videos have been really helpful and have provided that bit extra knowledge and motivation. Keep up the good work!!
Biggest goal this year is run my first marathon - just ran a half so I am looking forward to starting a training block for the full monty! Love your channel Ben; as a Brit living in the US its great to see you run around my home town of London! Keep it up mate, cheers!
Looking forward to my first ever running races! Started running in September 2021, now training for an upcoming 5k race! Running is the best thing that could’ve happened to me and from when I got started till now your channel is my channel to go to for any kind of running advice! :) Thank you Ben!
I can’t wait for Geneva Marathon in may, I was born there, my training has been great so far and I’m aiming for a 3:15 my last marathon was 3:57 in Edinburg. A big leap for me but feeling confident.
Hi, I'm just a beginner and I've only been running for two years, but I'm most looking forward to fulfilling your training plan and getting closer to my dream - standing on the podium in my favorite races. I follow the motto: know your limits and then humble them! I'm glad I discovered your videos which are a great inspiration and driving force :-)
Hey Ben, I started running as a high school freshman last season. I fell in love almost immediately and this year im aiming to get sub 5:30 for the mile and sub 2:30 for my 800. Getting these shoes would be great for my workouts or even my races. Love the vids and have a great day!!
My goal for this year is to letter for cross country. In order to letter I need to run a 17:30 3 mile time, and I have been training but have struggled on my journey to improve. I am still training consistently, but I still need to find something that works for me.
I'm running my first ever marathon this year, in Berlin, for my 50th birthday. I started running with couch to 5k at the age of 47. Ran my first HM's at Reading and Bournemouth last year. Going for a big one in '22
Hi Ben, thanks for offering the shoes as a giveaway. Luckily that is exactly my size! My biggest running goal this year is to get my marathon PB down from 3:06 to under 3 hours. It seems like these could be a big boost to training for that. Cheers, Mike
Hello, I’m looking forward to running my first half marathon this year which i’m super excited for coming from someone who never thought they would enjoy the art of running
Hi Ben, I'm most looking forward to Manchester Marathon this year. I ran it last year and got myself a pb of 2:47, hoping to get a London championship start time of sub2:40 this time. Loved the course and had a brilliant race, hope I can have a similar experience this year. Would be awesome to see you racing too! Thanks for all these videos, always inspiring!
Hi Ben I’m most looking forward to running my first marathon this year and am loving using your channel as my base for training , general advice motivation and support !
Hey Ben, I have really enjoyed your videos! The video on recognizing overtraining that you just made was a great reminder to me as someone who can try to do too much at once. My running goals for this year are very different. My first running goal is to run a 4:25 mile. My second running goal is to run a 2:40 marathon and hopefully run in the Boston marathon next year. Thank you so much for all that you are doing for the global running community!
Hi Ben, Just wanted to pop up on here to say a massive thank you for helping me out! I have been into running since I was a kid, however due to life I stopped running regularly. But during the pandemic I got the chance to challenge myself and get back into running. Last year I broke my half marathon PB at 1:28:19 and my goal this year is to get sub 1:28 and complete a full marathon! I Hope you and Sarah are well
Hi Ben, loving these videos! One thingI’m looking forward to this year is attempting a sub 16 this year alongside with a sub 34 10K. In which I will have to knock a 2 minute time off when I done a 36:40 under 8 months ago. Yet alone I’ve only been running for the past year and a half.
Love the channel and good to see you back running well. I am currently trying to get back to some running form after knee surgery last year, and it's great to draw motivation from your persistence during the recent injuries you have been through. My main goal this year is to get my Parkrun time back under 19 minutes (PB 18:44). About to start a Strava 10k plan to get some more structure into my training. These shoes would be perfect to help me with my training and goals, and are already in the right size!! Bonus!!
Set a few goals but my main one this year is to run a sub 4:15 1500. Definitely want to try out the Streakfly’s and it’s the giveaway happens to be the perfect size lol.
Hi, Im a Junior GB Triathlete, so I currently race over a 5km distance. I tried the alpha flys, but they were too narrow, so had to return them, but reading some reviews these shoes seem to be narrower. Im hoping to run around the 15:30 minute mark this season for a 5Km and these shoes would definitely help me get there! thanks, Liam
Attempting to improve a yet to be challenged 10k PB I set in 2017 (when I was 17). Due to injuries my training just hasn’t been consistent enough to try and give it a good go. I ran 34:56 in 2017 so that’s the time I hope to beat.
Great review Ben. Having been struggling with injury for the last two years that has stopped me running I am looking at building back up in 2022 and get back to racing.
After a horrible tibial stress fracture kept me sidelined for the last three months of 2021 and the first two months of 2022, I’m most looking forward to taking care of my body, staying healthy, and getting down toward a sub-2:30 marathon PR. 💪🏻
I am running Boston after qualifying in July. My running career is short, only my fourth year in, my goal is to enjoy the course, the history and thee race! And maybe finish with a 3:40😀
Hi Ben, just getting back in to running at age 58 after years of just dabbling. The events of the last few years have taught us not to wait to do the things we enjoy. I am looking forward to running the Lisbon Half Marathon in May (postponed from March)signed up last November. I have never done a race overseas before and so a bit of a new experience. Hoping to break 2 hours (current PB 2hrs 1 min from December 2021), hopefully weather not too hot, March would have been ideal. Great videos, keep up the great content.
Would love to win these shoes! I had big plans for this year but unfortunately medical issues have forced me to stop running completely until I've had further tests and am cleared to run again. Was hoping to crack 2:30 at London marathon this year and fingers crossed I will be back running soon
Been watching your videos for a while now for the marathon training and shoe reviews. I'm a senior this year so my goal is to run under 10 minutes for the 3200 and 4:30 for the 1600. Would love those streakfly for some good training.
Hi Ben, my running goal for this year is run the Chicago maraton, after a knee injury i hope to finish the maraton in 3:30, wish me look jaja thanks for your videos ;)
Hi Ben, I'm loving your videos- thank you so much for the Marathon series, I've been following along intently as I'm running Boston UK in April. I'm really looking forward to testing the waters and seeing how close to sub-2h30 I can run at Boston.
Love the review, this year i decided to train for my first two races a 10k this summer and half a marathon in autumn. I got hit hard with corona this christmas, which gave me the motivation to begin running to boost the recovering of my lungs.
Hi Ben, my target for this year will be simple, i hope i can archieve 200km frequently per month till june and only after that i will try to put speed training in my menu, and of course i hope i will be injury free this year, your video will help me accomplish my target, thx Ben!!
Hi Ben. Started running just under two years ago. Couldn't run a mile without having to stop. I've now got my first half marathon in just under four weeks!
Hi Ben. I joined a running club at the start of the year and now have numerous 10k races and a couple of half marathons to look forward to. Putting in the winter miles at the moment and always getting it done. Thanks to you and Sarah for the fun content. Ritchie.
Hey Ben, I’m honestly just looking to get healthy this year. I’ve been injured the past two years and mentally I’m finally starting to love it again. You’ve been such an inspiration for me in how open you’ve been with your own mental health battles and I’m gonna keep getting it done!
I think the thing I’m looking forward to the most this year is breaking out of my negative racing slump and throwing down some good times. I ended Cross Country season last year with some of my worst performances thanks to a combination of bad luck and fatigue from overtraining, but I’ve been able to run a decent indoor 3k this year and am ready to hit the outdoor track/road season and finally break 30:00 in the 10k and 14:30 in the 5k
2022 will be my 13th Great North Run and the goal is a PB. 7 months to go, using your videos and a training plan off the website to help me be much more prepared this year!!
Hi Ben, been loving your videos since I started my running journey in the 2020 lockdown. Since running my first half marathon last year in 2:15. My running goal for this year is to see if I can achieve sub 2 hours with your training plan. Most of all though I just want to keep getting it done and enjoying the process 👍
Hey Ben! Me and my GF are trying to get in to running, we gonna run our first half marathon and our first marathon in Amsterdam this year! It would be a lot easier with a nice pair of shoes 😉
love the content from you Ben. I have only recently got into running seriously over the last couple of years during the pandemic when all football in Australia stopped, in 2021 I managed to run my first marathon in the Melbourne mara recording a time of 3:26 at the age of 19. my goal for this year is to break 3:15 as I have learnt a lot following my most recent race. Hope to see you come down to Melbourne, Australia for the 2022 Melbourne marathon later this year!!
Love your channel Ben! I’m looking forward to running my first Boston Marathon here in 2 months! Qualified way back in October 2019 so been a long time coming.
Hi Ben and Sarah! Already a subscriber and liked the video! The race I'm most looking forward to is London marathon. I want to take down my Manchester (2:49) pb from last year! The last and first time I did was London 2018 and it was a scorcher! I wasn't prepared and got roasted. Wasnt a good race for me. I want to smash another sub three this year as I've got un finished business! Hope to see you both there. Chris Mahoney!
Excellent review Ben!! Running goal this year is to run a 1:25 Great north run back on the usual route.
Hello David! Thank you for your entry, I'm pleased to say that the random comment picker has chosen you! Please can you drop me a message via my website (www.benparkes.com) and I'll sort out getting the shoes to you. Congratulations!

Wore my pair for the first time tonight… intervals on the track. They are super comfortable but do not give you that extra boost you seem to feel with the vaporfly’s or other carbon fiber plate shoe. I have been following you before you broke your ankle and find your tips incredibly useful, especially the garmen screen setup that I probably would have never known any other way.

Looking forward to some fast road races with people around... missed those for two years now! Keep on the great reviews! Goal to run my first Marathon and a sub 1:30 half!
I’m running Boston in April for my 16 marathon. Love to watch your video to get inspired to keep going reaching 50 years of age.

I am excited to finally begin my running journey. Fell in love with it after my first run early January.
Biggest goal this year is run my first marathon - just ran a half so I am looking forward to starting a training block for the full monty! Love your channel Ben; as a Brit living in the US its great to see you run around my home town of London! Keep it up mate, cheers!
oh it is my size and i'am looking to have this model for workouts.. in the hope to brake 1:11 for half marathon and run again some sub 2:30 marathon
Awesome review!! I'm most looking forward to trying to break 1:35 in the half marathon in July, then attempting my first marathon in October! 🤞
15th may - CPH Marathon. Going for 2:50ish in my first Marathon! Really looking forward to it.
Ps. The size is a perfect fit
Hei Ben, my big exitment for this year is running the Boston marathon and my aim is to run under 3:15. I really like your channel, keep it up. 🙏🏻
Look forward to my first half marathon, hoping to finish in around 1:40, but crossing the finish line is the main goal.
Hi Ben. I hope to break 3:30 in marathon. 7 weeks left and it looks everything will go well! All the Best to you!
Hi Ben, I’m excited about running my first official half marathon and also breaking 19:30 in the 5km
This year I’m most looking forward to breaking 4:40 in the mile, and running a race that finishes in Hayward field
Hi Ben I’m looking to get started racing as I’m 14 and started half a year ago
I love your content
Keep it up 👍
Hi Ben, For this year my goal is Valencia Marathon Sub 3:30. And the size is perfect for me :D
Attempting to improve a yet to be challenged 10k PB I set in 2017 (when I was 17). Due to injuries my training just hasn’t been consistent enough to try and give it a good go. I ran 34:56 in 2017 so that’s the time I hope to beat.
Great breakdown! I’m gearing up for Boston this year, having qualified with my London result last year. Very excited!
Great review Ben. Having been struggling with injury for the last two years that has stopped me running I am looking at building back up in 2022 and get back to racing.
Looking forward finally getting over a jiggly calf injury and just getting back to a solid block of training… then target is sub 1:40 half
Thanks for the review! Just starting my first dedicated half marathon training block. Excited about all the miles leading up to the race in May.
Just getting over an achilles Injury and looking forward to the Boston Marathon! Thanks, asalways , to you and Sarah for inspiring videos.
I would love to go under 4:20 in the mile this week! My current pr is 4:22 and I'd love to try a new shoe to try and break that milestone!!
Really enjoy the videos, great material. This year I’m looking forward to running a sub 3-hour marathon!
Hey Ben, great review mate. Goal for me is getting to 1:26 in the half marathon! Streakfly looks like a great option for sessions 💪
Hi Ben, I'm really looking forward to run my first marathon this september, and I'm really enjoying the training and love your videos.
Hi, my running goal is marathon. A year ago I started running and I really enjoy it. Your videos motivate me, thank you. Pavel from the Czech Republic
