I'm gonna be honest. This was the best movie in the Monsterverse for me. It knew how to do fanservice right by giving each of the Titans a good amount of screen time, and every scene with them was stunning. The human parts weren't even half bad as well.

This trailer is beautiful. From the music, to the effects, to how the monsters move and act, it is a masterpiece. Even if the movie is not good, this trailer will always be astonishingly magnificent.
But what the lady said doesn't make any sense. "we are the infection and the earth created Titans to cure the infection. The titans were hiding for thousands of years...we need to find all the Titans or we all be dead"...or, by saying so she released King Ghidorah who really is the destroyer of the earth by mistake and Godzilla and his folks will fight with it?
You can thank the wonderfully crafted Clair De Lune, never gets old.

Honestly, often times I enjoy the trailers for major summer blockbusters more than the movies. You know nothing out of the ordinary is going to occur in this movie, but the trailer just sort of sums up the best parts and is a work of art in itself. Watch the Superman one from 5~ years ago (again), it was brilliant.
I watched this trailer in theatre before, and i think the most beautiful trailer I've seen. Its sound, cinematography, vfx and more that caught my attention. Until now, it's still give me a goosebumps.

...Update... June 16,2019....Went to see Godzilla on Father’s Day with my son and grand daughter. This movie did not disappoint! So much going on that my old eyes could not keep up. I’ll be buying the DVD to see it again and again.

It was suddenly star wars with spaceships and ancient monkey kingdom?? Godzilla literally burrowed down into the hollow earth with just its atomic breath wtf. Skull island completely destroyed for some reason? So much potential for future stories wasted; it still baffles me to this day.

I still have gratitude for the producers that saw the editors rough cut, and approved the budget to rescore this Debussy classic. Its such a departure from typical edits, that it's the only way I imagine this ever seeing the day of light. It gives hope to classical music and having courage in an industry that is flat lining in creativity
I love the many emotions this trailer evoke. There is a sense of hopelessness but also beauty, panic, awe, fury, respect. It's still a great trailer.

This movies really don't get the credit they deserve, especially the first one in 2014. I know people complain that Godzilla is barely in it but I think he's in it the perfect amount of time. When he's on screen it's awesome.
