I think adding baskets/buckets to your shelves is a great idea. It'll keep your shelves cleaner, especially for your dyes shelves!

Love it! I have bought so many different things to store hundreds of bottles of oils.. and within a budget that was very small! I like the idea of those white shelves on the wall to hold colorants or small bottles and very cheaply too! I may have to order those. Your idea of the locker for the oils is great! Target has these plastic storage baskets that fit perfectly in the ikea kallax system but would probably work for your locker. The baskets are low and wide and come in different colors (including gray), i also use them for my fragrance oils so you can just pull out the bin and see everything then just slide it back in the locker when you are done.
Good to know! We had a Kallax once and see considering one again. If we get one we’ll have to hit Target when we visit my family in 🇺🇸 as we don’t have them in 🇨🇦

I have those same shelves from Ikea that you put your colorants on and that's what I use them for too! I organized mine according to rainbow order too!
I think you could get a spice rack desplay thing that you can put your fragrance oil on so you can see the ones in the back as well

3/4in diameter labels (good for laser/inkjet) is what I just added to top of my FO bottles so when I roll them out drawer I can see what they are. I only use a number system w a ledger that goes w the number/purchase date so I know what bottle number is what scent and what I need to use up or dispose (damn little samples lol) (see “I dream in soap” that’s her idea)

Love the glasses. Your husband shouldn't have any problems due to being diabetic but it may be different regulations in the US. In the UK its with immediate effect if you have certain conditions which affect sight you are able to walk straight into a optical eye place. But you both look very 😎 cool none the less. 👏 😊
Yes, I have my annual eye check up and that easy and covered being a type 1! I guess I never thought of disclosing that I am diabetic when going for glasses! Thanks for watching 😊

You may want to rethink those baskets, I have 2 sets and they don't hold a lot of weight with out jumping off there rails. I store mu bags in them now instead of product.

The glasses look pretty good but I got to say there is no replacing the service at the “right” optical. Both are very big and will require add’l adjustments by a licensed Optician in person so I get the online convenience but that’s the extent of it. The quality (over time esp) and personalized service required for adjustments and fit is no match to in person. I realize it’s for advertising purposes but that’s just my opinion as a eyeglasses wearer and Licensed Optician. I appreciate you two and your videos are very informative!

You might want to add felt tips to the feet and the corner of cabinets to save indentations in your floor or to keep the floor from scratching. We did the same in our home and new floors. It's just a suggestion.

Congratulations on the new place! I've loved Ikea for 20+ years and you got some great pieces. In those fabulous lockers, especially with them being large and dark, consider adding a small motion sensor LED light in each locker to help see what's inside. I recommend the upper SIDES rather than backs so they don't shine right where your eyes look. Tho depending on the interior layout, maybe one motion sensor light strip could run through all of them instead of separate lights.
(I put a small one in a wide closet and love it. I don't use the remote or change settings - just auto-on/off - but it works great. It's attached via a magnetic plate for easy on/off to recharge, but nearly 8 months so far without recharging. Tho you'll be in your lockers A LOT more than I'm in that closet! They also have multi-packs with recharging stations, too, like ASIN B09FPMBTBF which is the multi-pack version of mine. Lots of different options though.)
I hope your studio ends up 100% perfect once totally finished and have rearranged things as needed.

I have a question about cold process vs hot process.
How do you keep up with demand with cold process, given it has a 4-6 week cure time? As opposed to hot process where there is only a 1 week cure time.
Great question! We always try to have the next batch ready by the time we are run out the scent of the already cured soap! When we’re busy we’ll just mark the product as sold out online and we just wouldn’t have it when we sold at the farmers markets

Have you looked at the plastic stackable soap drying racks supply store has I believe you can stack up to 30 racks at a time and they have air holes in it so your soap in your bath bombs can dry on it the bottom rack has wheels so you can roll it and lock it wherever you wanna put it I have them and I absolutely love them for my bath bombs and soap.

Great video and ideas for organizing!! I get the small clear containers with white lids from the Dollar Tree. I use them for my additives and I label them. You guys make way more soaps, so you may need the larger size for the larger quantities... I've seen at Dollar Tree as well, just the style is a bit different and plastic is not as clear/see thru. The containers will look very nice and uniform. Easy to grab too! But love your systems. 👍🤗😊🙏
