I like your story however I was reading a story about a famous Soap maker that bought her house and was doing the same thing you’re doing and she was told by the state that she could not do soapmaking in her garage, and she live in Texas she had to move out of her house. She and her husband and her kids move that part at the day works so hard to make it stable. How do you feel about about that?

Obviously her state allows that or else we wouldn’t be watching this video.

I've been making soap for about 5 years and finally feel very confident. I use fragrance oils but would love to break into the essential oil world. They are so expensive! Where is your supplies come from? Does your scent last a long time? You are such an inspiration and I love that you share that. I have I have 5 oils/butters as well. Castor, cocoa butter, coconut oil, olive oil and shea butter. I finally achieve a good recipe without soda ash and DOS. I'm feeling better everyday.

I've been making cold process soaps for several years but mainly as a hobby. Awesome that you've been able to turn it into a business. I love the boxes in your video with the jute handles. Do you make these? If not are you willing to share where they could be purchased. I would love to get a few to use as gifts for next Christmas to package my soaps. If not I understand. Anyway, happy soaping!!

Why the scent fades off from my handmade soaps.? Some says I should've a blend od E. Oils so that it will stay. Can you advice please?

Essential oil scents fade naturally in time, as is the case with most natural extract.
Fragrance oil on the other hand retain their scent, however fragrance oils are synthetics and not natural, and as far as cosmetic safety reports and labelling in most countries is concerned, they're a bit of a nuisance to work with because of all the synthetics.
Also when you're using oils in soap making, remember that you're weighing the liquid by its weight and not as a fluid; so if the oil is marked as 1ml that doesn't mean it will always be 1g because of density factors that change under all sorts of conditions.
Best to use a high precision scale (that can measure to 0.001g) when doing your oils unless you're making an incredibly large batch, and you can go up to 3% fragrance/essential oil to 100% of your oil weight.
Beyond that, and depending on where you're looking to sell your products, take note of the IFRA limits, which you should find as part of the technical sheets whenever you purchase an essential oil. For soap making, (cold process and hot melts), these will be under IFRA Category 9, and each oil and fragrance will have its own maximum use.
Some stronger oils, such as black pepper essential oil, will have a fairly low maximum use which is less than 1%, and other oils will also be limited because of potential reactions or irritants.
But when adding your oils to the mixture, you want to do it once it has cooled down a little bit but before it gets too cold, and it will need to be mixed in quite well. Can be a little tricky to do at first, especially if your soap recipe traces quickly, or any ingredient causes it to trace faster (such as honey, for example).
