Popped on to autotrader for a squizz and there is a 2007 Bentley FS for £22,995 with only 30,000 miles. The sweet jesus moment came when one of the photos showed a the mpg as 4.8! Oh boy....
To everyone planning on buying a Bentley, I have a MK2 GT 2014 with W12 engine, mpg is 12mpg on average and on average a set of tyres is £800 pushing to £1000 if you look at more well known brands. Do not fool yourselves cheap to buy second hand maybe but be prepared to spend more money on maintenance and repairs! Just an FYI comment, dream big and achieve big people 💪🏻
I could buy a 2000 Lexus LS400 for $8,000, run it with no oil and it would still run to better than half a million miles. Also, if a truck hit it, it would be the truck that would need the tow. Honestly Lexus changed everything. Europe finally had competition and had to play catch-up. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.
I don't usually watch videos like this, came by this by chance.. like the format.. you've not only listed the cars and what is good about them but you've also listed things to look out for... have that "like" mate, you deserve it
Honestly a bad list, $20K for a cayenne does not exist unless it's been in a bad accident or something. Range Rovers are Notoriously expensive to maintain. As are Jaguar, Mercedes, Maserati, Bentley, Audi and old BMW's Hard to include in a budget list The only good cars are the volvo and lexus
I have an LS430 which I chose over the LS600h specifically as the newer one was better after the 2012 facelift, and a decent low mileage well maintained 430 is far better value for money.
For for the range rover, lots of us have thought about it and are just scared, spend 15k on one, keep 5k back for repairs/ maintenance and you will have plenty of content on the work required just to keep it on the road
Random one here! Your thumbnail has a red line at the bottom which made me think I'd already watched this video before so I nearly ignored it. Great stuff as always mate
Always end up on auto trader everytime i watch your vids lad. Good job i aint minted. And if i was to get any of this list itd be the volvo, jag or the lexus. Although the masserati has always been a dream car of mine but its a italian car so reliability is just a ball ache
I'd recommend to get the Audi. As they're part of the VAG, repairs will be relatively cheap, spares will be available as they're shared by different models of different brands very often and it has all the power you need on all the wheels😉👍🏻
Interesting video as always. But please people do not delude yourself. There is no such thing as a cheap Bentley, then and now. Maybe cheap to by second cars. But these vehicles are very expensive to both run and repair!. They were never made for poor people!. SORRY................
@11:10 Cheap? Normally, you won't get discounts on labour or spare parts mate just because the Bentley has depreciated like a rock. It come equipped with dozens of potential electrical gremlins that require a lot of dough to fix.
If it wasn't for the running costs, that Bentley would be an insane bargain. Of course, if it wasn't for the running costs then it wouldn't be a bargain since it wouldn't depreciate so much, oh well. That gen of LS feels a bit dated to me so I'd probably take the Jag or Merc from this list, probably the Merc for the tech. The Audi is nice but I find their interiors too...German, they're never very homely (using the British definition or that word, not the American one!).

V8 diesel?? damn. great vid love that you're revisiting the topics as prices change and different cars become available.

I have to agree with you it’s the Bentley for me
surprised 6 series didn't make it over the 7 series, but a fantastic list no less!
Freezing 🥶🥶🥶
Great video and love the Saracens beanie :-)

Lovely list and you should get more than 20.000 likes.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ nobody cares about that unless you're a child born after the year 2000 then your life is based on digital thumbs what a sad way to live.
Love the video, get an S Class if you reach your goal👍🏾

Please can you compare the cars with the same generation and engine
wow what bargains! i'd probs either have the F01 7er (BMW bias lol) or the Quattroporte (cuz Italy)... even tho it can be unreliable
I loved the disclaimer “in a certain period of time.” Lol
Fantastic. Great. Now let's see Paul Allen's list
Great vid, thanks. Now put the kettle on & fill your hot water bottle! All the best....
What about a VW Phaeton?
Hi JB. Forget the Range Rover. I would say the Lexus, Phaeton or the Bentley. I've got a Lexus and am very satisfied 😌
Audi s8 is the one basically an rs6
Please put your hearing on JB, I was the same... and lasted all of 2 days, but the thermostat is much lower now. 😀

Cheap to buy, not cheap to own

Was liking the Volvo until the fire warning ⚠️ 🔥
What does JB stand for
Jonathan Brighton 😊
@@godspeed6315 thank you
So, wen Bentley?
Bentley or Lexus.. Lexus is reliable and full on luxury. Bentley for pose appeal.
👍
So you're a Saries fan, eh?
They were my local club when I lived around Watford!
Get the S class fam
Older gen quattroporte easy
The most expensive Bentley is the cheapest one…
Get the jag it’s a classic
you look freezing ,get a water bottle they do help mate
buy the Maserati, bro.
LOL most unreliable car to buy
The Bentley is eye watering expensive. A rear brake cluster £800. TPM £400
NEVER EVER make a decision solely on purchase price !
ALWAYS LOOK AT maintenance costs too !
