I have a Smart Tablet + DVD Sylvania player 10.1" I charged it for 5 hours per the manuel instructions. I put a band brand new new CD in the back of player. It comes on now and shows the date and time. Then when you touch the screen it brings up a keyboard but I can't get past the keyboard to get to any icons. No icons come up at all. How do I get to page showing Icons?? Only see a keyboard with the numbers/letters. I also have a Hotspot device that I use to get on to my regular Tablet which I have on but I cannot get onto Sylvania to get past the keyboard.
I have the same problem. Getting no responses to how to unlock it. Now I have to go all the way back to return it. Who ever heard of a password lock on a brand new device???
I got this around October/November 2017. In general it was a good product. The DVD player part though didn't work with my Bluetooth speaker but the tablet part did. I was still glad with my product but yesterday it stopped taking charge. It was barely a little more than a month after that I bought it and it's already giving me problems. I changed cords and charger plugs but still didn't work. It looks like the charging port needs to be replaced. That's a bummer for me cause I really like this tablet. Now I'm trying to see how to replace it or if there's a charge pad I can use, any suggestions?
just got one at Walmart for$49.99 couldn't beat the price . I've had it for 3 days so far it works as good as my Samsung tablet, I bought it July 1st 2017 for$ 49.99 at Walmart so if you want one get it soon. they are not advertised, when they unlocked the door were all iPods are kept Is I saw this big box rep. said it's on clearance. I'll take it. Ive had problems with the Samsung Port I googled it and I'm not the only one it's a defect that they have yet to rectify.
USB OTG? I just want to connect Digital TV dongle for that DVD TABLET to watch over the air DTV channels or connect to Wifi (MyGica WiTV, DVB-T/ISDB-T / WiTV2 DVB-T2), Anotek ATSC Tuner dongle and MyGica ATSC dongle for Android.
Only sucky part is that the dvd doesn't work unless you're connected to wifi or someother network. Dvd features should have been built into its hardware.
I got one of these. Battery doesn't last long playing DVD, but it is a pretty good device. I give it an 8 out of 10. Still very good, and well worth the money.

If you have the receipt take it back or try calling the warranty dept.

Yes. It uses the same micro usb chargers that most of the older android phones use.

Only way to improve the audio is to use headphones or a bluetooth speaker.
MY DEVICE REVIEWS I used a Bluetooth speaker but it only worked with the tablet part but not the DVD
