Building A Wetroom On A Narrowboat Pt 1

I start building the wetroom in the narrowboat by cutting the former into the floor & upgrading the timber barers.

Hi. Are your floor bearers wood? Aren’t they normally steel welded to the hull? Thanks perhaps a 12v fan. 🥵

Hi Stephen. They are angle irons welded to the floor ,but they then have a timber section screwed on to the top flange.
