I'm a late gen Z, and when I see videos of people in earlier gen Z years having nostalgia on times that I didn't remember, like IDK, flash games or something, I feel left out and wished I was born earlier, especially since gen Z were talking crap on gen alpha. As a late millenial born in 1993, what I do with my money from my shitty job is invest 20% of my paycheck into the stock market. 10% goes to appreciation stocks like Amazon and the S&P 500 for example, and the other 10% goes to dividend paying stocks (basically you get paid every 3 months for holding those type of stocks/passive income). I 100% agree with you. It’s not the Generation, it’s the person. It’s gotten a little too far to the point that some people who were born from 2010-2012 are saying that they are so glad that they are not part of the “ipad generation” when they were literally born after the first iPad was made or the same month they were made (January 27th, 2010) so they could be considered Gen Alpha too, and they were born in the same decade and just because you were born 1 year earlier doesn’t mean that you were nothing like Gen Alpha. Even if you were born in 2009 you can be addicted to your “iPad kid.” Just because you were born in a later year doesn’t make you better. I think the generation have gotten more introverted. Like in my class at break time, no one would really talk, they would just be on their phone watching TikTok, instagram and even during school they would be on their phone. That IS concerning cause I want to talk and interact with people more and interact. Also the generations have gotten a lot less independent and discipline which I used to think was bad but in a way it ended up in my favor since everyone was complaining about a coach at our school for being “too hard” and yelling a tiny bit loud at us everyone thought it was a big deal except for me since I think I had more discipline. I'm gonna stay out of the generation beef. It really is pointless. One time at Sky Zone some boy said I had a "level 5 gyatt" and it made me very uncomfortable. Sadly, a lot of Gen Alpha people behave like that, but not all. I have met respecting and smart Gen Alpha's just as much as any other Gen. People don't deserve to get stereotyped based on when they were born, something they CANT control.

As a late millenial born in 1993, what I do with my money from my shitty job is invest 20% of my paycheck into the stock market. 10% goes to appreciation stocks like Amazon and the S&P 500 for example, and the other 10% goes to dividend paying stocks (basically you get paid every 3 months for holding those type of stocks/passive income).

I love that this is just one big rant, because that is just the type of thing I would do [except I’d probably do it swearless cuz I live in a catholic household so that’s how I was raised]. But yeah, I completely agree with all of those points. There is no reason for generations to be at war, and if we wanna solve any problems we have to work together. [also thank you for defending the gen z side, although I doubt any of those gen x rise up people will see it because their video feed is just filled with either gen x people bashing gen z people or the stupider side of gen z that I can never actually find but that gen x always links in their videos.

I 100% agree with you. It’s not the Generation, it’s the person. It’s gotten a little too far to the point that some people who were born from 2010-2012 are saying that they are so glad that they are not part of the “ipad generation” when they were literally born after the first iPad was made or the same month they were made (January 27th, 2010) so they could be considered Gen Alpha too, and they were born in the same decade and just because you were born 1 year earlier doesn’t mean that you were nothing like Gen Alpha. Even if you were born in 2009 you can be addicted to your “iPad kid.” Just because you were born in a later year doesn’t make you better. I think the generation have gotten more introverted. Like in my class at break time, no one would really talk, they would just be on their phone watching TikTok, instagram and even during school they would be on their phone. That IS concerning cause I want to talk and interact with people more and interact. Also the generations have gotten a lot less independent and discipline which I used to think was bad but in a way it ended up in my favor since everyone was complaining about a coach at our school for being “too hard” and yelling a tiny bit loud at us everyone thought it was a big deal except for me since I think I had more discipline. If any generation can make the world better, it’s Gen Z or Gen Alpha. So please, judge based on the person and not the Generation they were born in!!
