    Love the idea, of putting the garlic in oven I am gonna try, I put my garlic parsley butter in silicone ice cube trays, its easy to pop them out, x

    Ultimate Compound Butter
    Always use fresh herbs
    Using a stand mixer combine 2 sticks of unsalted butter, set butter out of refrigerator and bring up to room temperature to soften, add 1 tsp. thyme, 1 tsp. basil, 1 tsp. rosemary, 1 tsp. garlic, 1 tsp. shallot, 1 tsp. chives, salt and pepper.
    Mix all ingredients in mixer on low until all ingredients are combined.
    Roll butter mixture into a log shape on a piece of parchment paper and refrigerate.

    Can I freeze the butter, I have a guest coming to my home, I live in San Diego California they're coming in 2 months, can I make the butter now and freeze it, and then throw it in 2 months? Thanks

    Thank you for the video. Will definitely try it out. One question. Why will it only keep a week in the refrigerator? Do the spices and garlic compromise the longevity of the butter?

    What if all those 'erbs' are not available? Can we add coriander instead?

      Yes, you can use coriander, but the flavour will be different. Most people associate garlic butter with Italian cooking, so italian herbs will give you a similar flavour; coriander will give a more mexican/mid asian flavour. It's also quite a strong flavoured herb, so go in with a light touch - you can always add more later. You can use dried herbs if you can't get fresh...just remember to use less.

    ma'am i have a doubt how do you roast the garlic if you don't have a oven? cause i want to make this butter but don't have one so that's why i asked

      Just roast it in a pan on the stove top.

      Rebecca Cornel I would microwave until soft. Then add oil to roast a bit.
