Can you address what mechanism is keeping these storms from dropping down the west coast and entering the US at lower latitudes? Southern UT/CO and northern AZ/NM are getting nothing.

It's scary at WC atm. We went from a 5' base to absolutely nothing. Hopefully we make up for it in Shredruary! Only a dozen pow days so far when we average 60+ a year.
