She needs a busking or charity licence if she is collecting money. In this case she needed a busking licence to collect money as she was collecting money for herself, which is classed as busking. And even if she had a licence she would have to go to a designated Amplification Spot where she'd have to queue up for a 40-minute spot, Oxford Street where she was is not an Amplification Spot. She's an amazing singer for real but she knows this, and a lot of other performers know this too. This Bylaw has been in since April 2021, I know this because I'm a busker myself. If I had my way I would get Westminster to change back to the way is was before April 2021. That Officer clear hates Christian people, but both sides made this situation worse. So yeah don't be fooled by the media, this is to make Christians angry over a confusing situation.

Having said that, it's good to practice occasional self-dicipline as many are right now through lent - Using it as a way to learn dicipline, value, and sacrafice. The main thing though is that it isn't a requirement, but you may find it beneficial.
