Thank you Bruce and Otis! We are blessed with some lovely beaches close to home. Between them and our local mountains we are spoilt for choice for our dog walks. Hope you're both keeping fit and well 🐶🙋♂

It's a beautiful stretch of coastline. I was so happy the castle was open as it has always been closed when I've visited before. Thanks for watching guys 🙏
Yeah, it's a cracking bit of coastline and was a life saver during Covid for those of us near enough to get to it. I never tire of the view across to Arran. All the best mate, Ian
Hello Ian☺ I enjoyed this video during lunch. What an amazing place🥰A historic castle blends into the landscape. Entry is FREEPeople can easily become familiar with history. Your hairy friend looked happy too.
Wonderful little walk. My favorite view was actually your last little hill. The castle looked so cute and small, but quite a few people up there for the size of the place.
Lovely walk Ian, It’s made me realise how much I’m missing Scotland! Your photography is very smooth & the views are gorgeous. Right! Will be in touch 😁
We must be neighbours! I love the beach at Seamill. The sound of the waves is very peaceful. I've only made it to Portencross once, and the castle was closed.
Lovely stretch of coast, much quieter than it is here in the south, as you'd expect! And free entry to the dog-friendly beach! Was the view across the water to Isle of Little Cumbrae? (Yes, I looked on a map 😂)
Hi Matt. Yes, Little Cumbrae to the right, Isle of Bute in the centre and then Arran with the mountains to the left. Aye, no issues with dogs on the beaches up here. All the best, Ian
Hard to beat a great packed sand beach...and a fantastic place for a dog to freely trot and explore on their own. Wonderful stuff! Bruce and Otis

Beautiful skies …….. and land and sea too for that matter! So few people as well.
It was a cracking afternoon Steve and quiet for a Sunday. I expected more folk at the castle. See you soon 😎
The inside castle looks fabulous, it’s fabulous views around the and coastlines. This is great hike😍❤️👍👍

Nice walk and beautiful video! Thanks Ian! 👍🏻
Thank you kindly Chris. Have you watched The Outlaw King on Netflix?
@@IanTupmanOutdoors No, I don't have Netflix.
@@chrisp267 Well you're not missing much Chris. A pretty poor performance by Chris Pine 😒
Stunning sky’s Ian not to mention the seascape (magical walk mate 👍🤠)
ATB Simon 🤠🙏🏼🏔️

Hi, I'm happy you enjoyed the walk to our local castle 😃Meg is always happy to have a walk, especially on the beach. Greetings from Scotland 🙋♂
Great hike Ian. Nice scenery along the way 😊
It's a lovely part of the west coast Arnstein. Thanks for watching buddy 😎

Glad you enjoyed it. Portencross is a popular local walk but for a sunny Sunday afternoon it wasn't that busy ☀
I really enjoyed watching your video today. Thank you for sharing and doing such a great job 👏 You have a lovely channel.💯🙊💢
Thank you very much for watching and for your kind comment 🤗

Thanks Sue. The new GoPro is much more stable than the old one and the colour rendering is much better as well. See you up here soon 🤗

Hi Natalie, we're in Saltcoats and the walk from Ardrossan north shore to Seamill is a regular one for us. Have a good week 🙋♂
@@IanTupmanOutdoors Thanks Ian. I'm in Saltcoats too, but at the back of the town, so if I go to the beach I have a long uphill walk back.

@@IanTupmanOutdoors cheers Ian! Not sure why I wrote dog-friendly beach (although that is a plus), I meant dog-friendly castle!
