If Gamera ever shows up in the Monsterverse & he & Godzilla initially fight, I have no doubt that Mothra would show up to get them to stop fighting & join forces. Mothra would 100% be able to sense the good in Gamera & she would know he truly wasn't a rival to Godzilla. I have a feeling that is going to happen in Godzilla x Kong. Godzilla & Kong will start out fighting again & Mothra will return to get them to stop & join forces.
