    Sir u said caco3 takes place below 80 degree and mg(oh)2 takes place above 80 degree but evaporation is taking place between 40-60 degree then how ma(oh)2 is taking place?

      Good question! First of all the I told u the properties of sea water and the conditions for different scales formation. But scales formation depends on the evaporation temperature but in this I considered one type of FWG which evaporating temperature is 45-50 (which is mostly used onboard ship) degree Celsius. But let's assume one example Sea water heated at 85.degree Celsius (Below atm pr.) then in this case also SW achieve their boiling point.then Mg(OH)2.scales is deposited. (it is possible at 85 degree Celsius + corresponding to below Atmospheric pressure SW boils then Mg(OH)2.scales deposited. ) I just told u the property of SW and relation between sw and their heating temperature.

      And second and most important thing is scale formation is not the major concern in fresh water generator because this is only the reason evaporating temperature is low in case of fresh water generator but it is also possible at 85.degree Celsius and corresponding to below atmospheric condition evaporating of sea water is achieved but in this case Mg(OH)2 scales is deposited. Which is more dangerous than Caco3 that's why FWG operator recommended to operate evaporating temperature low in case of FWG(45-55degree Celsius then caco3 scales formation takes place) For example u take the case of boiler where scales deposited is more concern why???
      Because the operating temperature is high or say evaporating temperature is high so more scales formation.
      So u are right evaporation is taking place between 45-60.degree Celsius but it is also possible evaporation at 85.degree Celsius corresponding to below atmospheric pressure but in this case Mg(OH)2.scales deposited. But our Aim is to less scales deposited is formed.
      Please comment it below your doubt is clear or not?

      Scales formation depends on evaporation temperature. In case of FWG evaporation temperature is about 40-45 degree Celsius (Because of vacuum). So less evaporating temperature leads to less scale formation...... On other hand u may observe that scales formation is major concerned in marine boiler. Why? The reason is because of high evaporating temperature but in FWG evaporating temperature is much less as compared to Boiler.
