Sir, What troubleshooting measures can be tried out on ship's fresh water generator which is producing far less output in Laden condition than in Ballast condition ? During Ballast Production 33.0 MT/day, During Laden production 12 MT/ day. Please advise
there should be a NRV in the overboard line which can prevent the back flow if the pressure is high on the delivery side of the pipe . (which was mentioned as one of the point in q1)

Evaporator and condenser both are in same shell. So both may have vaccum
