i was so in love with the demo versions, even still listening to future perfect in 2017, i prefer the demo versions. all autolux is good for the lungs though.....
I usually prefer demo versions too. Sure, they don't sound as good as a clean studio recording. But more often than not the DIY production usually makes the band try harder and with demo recordings you get the uncompromising vision of the band before a producer steps in.
