I miss him so much in Depeche Mode that he was an integral part of the band. he put the actual sound of the band on the right track. he's the best and coolest keyboard player i know.

😍 I just love Alan Wilder ❤️… Although, he seemed to have aged rapidly after leaving DM… I believe, Alan escaleted DM’s status when he joined the band. He should have been inducted in the Hall of Fame as part of DM.
Tell me where he is, I'll track him down. We've all aged since the inception of DM.
@@1sallyvw - LOL!!… I didn’t mean time did not age any of us, but Alan did “age rapidly” after his departure from DM. I don’t even recognize him today. I mean, he’s still seems charming and captivating, but if I compare his aging to his counterparts in DM, I would say that I would not recognize him today.
Alan was in fact inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the others (and Vince as well). However, he wasn't present in the video conference they held for the acceptance speech. I think that from watching the acceptance video a lot of people got the impression that it was only Martin, Dave and Andy who were inducted.

Well after all a band it’s not just about music. Specially with their success and potential. The dark side was pushing them to the limits and leaving them to drugs, 😮alcohol and depression from so young. Alan was different he didn’t surrender to the disparities but he was right to leave because his mind health was in danger. With SOFAD they were toxic enough together to get Dave suicidal, but the companies were not worried about it, they were and are a brand that still makes money. Deep down they were just three basildon kids struggling the poverty and Alan perhaps someone mature who wanted to work hard but couldn’t bare the craziness. I don’t blame Dave and martin they fought with all they had, maybe no real friends around just like with the Beatles and fame. But bad companies with drugs to keep them busy while they make money. I still miss Alan and always will, but he was brave enough to keep his ideals and sanity, he had a family too. He was such a key to the Depeches earlies that I love 💕
