I pray little Leo is improving, hugs to both of you. Brandon has been awesome, Kevin has been awesome as well. Thank you both for posting videos during what must be and exhausting time in your life.
@@rrek7 really? I thought that all this was in the past? Allie said he got sick & admitted on day 5 & he was born the 1st week of November so with that timeline I thought it was done & over.
@@rrek7 that's weird with Instagram, I'm not on there alot so not sure. I went back & watched the Q&A video that was released a couple weeks ago & he was born Nov 4th & he definitely looks bigger in that video. Either way he is home & healthy, that's the most important thing! Breaks my heart they had to go through this, couldn't even imagine!
How nice to see you guys on Wednesdays!!! You are always a treat and these couple of Wednesday vlogs have helped with the anticipation of Mondays and Fridays regarding the whole family! Thank you! Happy to see you relaxed. That means all is going well with Leo, etc.!
Loving these bonus videos! I'm so glad we were able to come along on the journey! You did an amazing job even with all the added pressures and I think I speak for all your subscribers when I say, "We are so proud of you!!"

"The most disastrous day of the build..." I doubt it!!! Upside down beam, aired up plug causing water leak, water damage on the stained wood because of not watching the weather, when Trent forever damaged the hearth (chip), bathroom towel rack, hole in bathroom wall, big gaps around closet door/trim above stairs, refrigerator placement and spacing, mud job around master bedroom window, the grout job in the upper bathroom, and too many more to list. Trent is good at finding someone besides himself to blame for the big screw ups. Great Video!
Positive vibes going out to Leo, mom and dad. I was happy to hear you say so many great comments regarding Brandon, he has been there from the beginning.
Install a snow stop over the entrance to you house. It's just a piece of upside down "V" shaped flashing installed on the roof above the door to direct the snow left and right of the door when the snow slides off the roof.
When I went to build I decided my parents and Great Uncle were going to have some input. My maternal Great Uncle wanted the exterior to replicate the old family Farmhouse outside of Williamsburg VA. It was adjacent to Yorktown VA and was built right after the Civil War ended. All we had to go off of was a newspaper article picture of the house just before it was demolished (to make room for a Target Store) and my Great Uncle's childhood memories. A artist painted it after a snowstorm and won a national award with it. The style was considered "Scandinavian Victorian" With my Great Uncles Memory and that picture we did a good job. Then later on with genealogy research it was discovered my father's 5x great grandfather was a general under General Layafette at the battle of Yorktown. He was with the French Army and allowed to marry a Virginia woman instead of returning to France after the Civil War ended. On the inside my Mother insisted on 3 dining rooms with seating for 8 in each for family gatherings. She also wanted it patterned after THE AWAHNEE HOTEL in Yosemite. We had graph paper that everyone passed back n forth. I think things went fairly well. Except the overall size kept being enlarged on every pass around. Literally upon final drawings it was the very most the City would accept given parcel setbacks. The most emotional part for me was receiving 2 checks for use in buying interior furnishings. One at Colonial Williamsburg. Which is just down the road from my Great Great Grandparents Farmhouse. The other was for Dining Room items at THE AWAHNEE. It truly was a family project. And now they have all passed. Leaving me with a lasting memory. And I was able to locate the ORIGINAL OIl painting of the family Farmhouse. The owner allowed me to digital copy it. It's now hanging over my fireplace.
Thank you for the tips. Especially the "Can do" tip. People have always asked me how I learned how to do certain things. My answer is always. "it needed to get done so I figured it out" Now with UA-cam, it makes it a lot easier to research and find others who have done it who can tell you the do's and don'ts.
Hope on Friday’s video we get to see Leo home once more. I think the most obvious thing about your relationship is that you are unfailingly kind to each other. Kind. Thoughtful. Appreciative. Always.
I LOVE you guys!!!!! I will never build my own house. Please look into the relationship between Leo's medical problem and pre term babies given FORMULA.
No disrespect to Kevin but Brandon is the MVP in my book! He just gets stuck in and is solid and reliable. If you build your house yourself, you need a Brandon!
Glad that so many people want to hear about the building of you home. My heart has been aching just to hear even just a little snippet as how Leo is doing. I pray he is good!!!!!
I’m in my second new construction home. I’ve learned from my parents not to buy someone else’s problem. We were 1 year late breaking ground and from breaking ground to moving in took almost 2 yrs. One thing I did was I came by every week and took pictures. That helps because I can go back and look and see where all the wiring and piping are routed. I also took a ton of drone pictures of the house and neighborhood as well. The last major project that needs to be done is to finish the basement. Love the entire build series!
Well kudos to both of you if you survived all this you can survive anything in your marriage always remember that you are a very strong couple together

Allie, Leo is all yours. You wanted him through out the build. Where is he now? Hope he is at home with you. The house does look nice tho. I bet the garage will be easier to build now that you both have experience.

Nice to see you on Wednesday! Yes, having the best tool for the job may also prevent injuries. No one should be teetering on the top step of a ladder and reaching to do work.
This video was just filler because they needed to comply with their sponsorship of L.L. Bean. It was rude, mean, and thoughtless to those of us subscribers holding our breath and waiting to find out how sweet little Leo Anthony is doing. At this point, EVERYTHING is irrelevant!
We built our 1st house in UT like you 2 from the ground up. It was such a lot of work & stress & yes I was also pregnant, but with child # 5. He was born 2 wks after we moved in. We had the final inspection 5 days before he was born. Complete chaos as you know but it was very worth it! That experience is so bonding as you know and has given us years of memories we laugh at now. Fantastic job! You've done well, all you need is for Leo to come home & everyone to be able to relax 🤗❤
You gave some invaluable answers. We’re hiring a contractor to help us build our house. We actually contacted the county inspector and gave him some names of contractors and ask his opinion on them that was a lot of help to us. Did I miss it is Leo home yet.
My mother and father built their home in their 50’s with a five year old. They found him on the roof with a small hammer. Oh my. They also had two stories on the back of the house. They had my grown brothers and friends helping. They hired a dry wall taper, electric (mostly). Some pluming and a concrete finisher for the front poach. It looked like country with a wooded back yard and a creek at the bottom. It was quite sad when we had to sell. May you be happy and proud and enjoy your beautiful home , and wonderful baby ( it does not get better than that) . Bread to nourish you and salt to give a richness to your life---. Something like that. It’s a Wonderful life. Also May the Wind be always at your Back - Irish Blessing..
Building the house by yourself is a huge undertaking but adding a second dog and having your first baby on top of it really pushes you to the max. You've done a great job!
They passed more tests then just the inspections and with flying colors! Thank you Trent and Alley for letting us join you with support, information and prayers!
What a nice surprise today. Yes, I held my breathe on a few of those videos when things went array but look how good the house looks now. Hope Leo is tolerating food and progressing well. See ya Friday.
I really appreciate you talking about trusting experts. Yes, this is so important. I am an artist and it is what I am very very good at, I have skills and experience that Ive earned from my educaton and career. Its fine to be creative and have a good idea of what you want but second guessing, arguing with, or simply ignoring the expert one is working with is always a mistake. I also appreciate the distincton of trusting your gut if something seems off or plain wrong, it's always okay to say you want another quote, design, or direction- one does not have to feel forced to accept something just because you are working with someone- an expert also wants you to feel good about working with them, and what you are getting from them.
I find this very comforting because Leo was so ill about a month ago, and he must be better because Trent and Allie would not have made this vlog if he was still unwell. I so hope on Friday to hear for sure.
Just found your channel this week and have watched all of your house build videos thus far. You guys have done an amazing job, and can't wait to see everything completely finished! :)
I really wish you would stop calling your house a “little cabin.” It is not. You are blessed to have the means and support to build a substantial home - more than most people will ever see in their lifetime, much less own. It is a two story dwelling with sun room and detached garage.
When researching the area, be sure to check state requirements for the trades. Some states require work to be done by licensed professionals (most commonly electricians and plumbers), so you may need professionals for those.
Trent your can do attitude is a great trait. Over the years this trait will brush off on little Leo and can only lead to great things. Watching you master trades and achieve your goals has been amazing. Congratulations and now on to the next adventure.
What a FUN video!!! I've been following you for a long time and know exactly what you've been through. You make each video an adventure and I wait anxiously for what's coming next. The house looks amazing!!! Can't wait for Leo to come home full time. And love when you show the dogs off, especially Frank the adventure dog. Hug's!!!
HELLO??? REMEMBER BABY LEO?? We tuned in expecting a surprise video on his improving health, and what did we get?? A crappy infomercial for L.L.Bean!!!
Your house is definitely a labor of love and something you should be proud of for years to come.. prayers for baby Leo on his recovery.. thank you for the wonderful tips on home building.. Happy holidays to all of you..🤗💞🙏
I am not going to build my own house as it is too late in my life but i love watching you guys that had no experience, Your tips and advice was good though, It has been great to see how you tackled every aspect of the build, you have amazed me at times and you have achieved all that you set out to do, And I am not forgetting Brandon, He has been a star, I couldn't imagine Allie on top of a ladder doing the ceiling or the roof, I hope that Leo is doing well.
Love it that you are posting on Wednesday’s now! I absolutely would love it if you posted EVERYDAY! I’m stuck at home right now and look forward to seeing your post.
The building of your home has been great and all the excitement that went along with it you all are Hard workers and now you can sit back and enjoy baby puppy and home
I just love you guys. Your so cool and happy. I really enjoy watching you guys, and can't wait for your next video. Prayers still being said for Leo.🙏🙏🙏🙏
Congratulations on your new baby little Leo formerly “Ginger Snap” as well as the completion of your beautiful home. My wife and I like you style and “Beautiful sense of adjustment”! We’re also heartened by the gentle sensitivity and warmth in facial express that you show toward one another especially when your both stress out and even tired. @Qefna Ija Sweetheart, no one is looking for sex on this channel. This is a clean family channel. Let's keep it that way. Don't sell yourself short. Turn to Jesus and let Him wash you clean and give you a bring new life. A life with purpose and genuine love. Don't you know how special you are to Him?! He loves you so much.
You two have already experienced it, so have I in my motorcycle rides ..... the harder the GO, the sweeter the memories ! It has been awesome watching y'all progressing in building a wonderful family and abode. God bless !
These tips can be applied to any level of DIY projects. We started watching your channel a few months ago at the beginning of a bathroom renovation. So many times we channeled Trent's frustration or Allie's enthusiasm to get to the other side of a looming obstacle....and now my husband has lots of new tools too! Thanks for encouraging us to the finish line. P.S. we are 70somethings, so you young whippersnappers can do ANYTHING!
This year has been a LABOR of love , Allie , Leo, Trent and the house build. Continued prayer for Leo. He is sooooo Adorable. He deffinately took after your side of the family in his looks Allie,he couldn't go wrong either way, your both beautiful people. Love the bonus video .Much love.
I have been following you for a long time, there are many times where I rejoice with you, when good things happen to you, and I also have felt sorry for you when bad or sad things happened to you, but the today's video was a great treat for me, you sure know how to wrap things up all the things you went through, in a great way, so thanks again for your video
You can't just sit there and talk about the house Trent and Allie "from the future," when we are all dying and want to know, WHERE'S LITTLE LEO? :-) He's got to be on food and home by now? :-)
I have literally been waiting all morning to see if you had a video and here it is BUT I wanted to know about BABY LEO! Not saying that o didn’t like the video but so anxious to know about the baby. I love you guy’s so much and feel like you are part of my family and I’m in limbo right now not knowing. Guess I will have to wait till Friday. Sending all my love and prayers to your family.❤️❤️❤️
I saw a baby bottle in the background. Not sure if Leo is home in this video or not but I was looking for signs. Also the car seat on the counter might indicate that he's there.
I even signed up for instagram just to see how things were going. Like I said I have watched them for years and always anticipate waiting on what happens or what they get into next. I love Trent & Allie great people and down to earth.
If you check out their new channel All ABOUT LEO you will know he's home and doing well. I'm so happy they sarted a new Leo channel. They post updates their
Hey, a nice upbeat video following the upset and heartbreak of giving birth and Leo in intensive care but improving....don't know how you were able to put on smiling faces in this vid with all that is going on...thank you so much and I so love the scenery you provide with the drone. I have friends in Salt Lake City and skied with them just before the pandemic in 2020....a beautiful place to back country ski! ❤️🩹👍🇨🇦🍁
Meg- I think Leo is probably home right now. They wouldn’t be so relaxed and happy if he wasn’t. This is Wednesday- I think they are saving the coming home video for Friday.
@@priscillachapman9145 Thanks. Lets see what Friday's vid is like. In any case, nice to have a vid that isn't so "intense" with deep worries about precious Leo. Life certainly has its curve balls thrown at humans.....horrible thinking of the suffering of tornadoes that devastated several south central states this past week! So sad!
Love LL Bean’s clothing. My parents had LL Bean winter outdoor items & I do as well ( & I’m 74 years old). My very favorite is the women’s full length fleece zippered robe- mine is at least 20 years old & the color, the zipper & the fabric have held up wonderfully.
Thank you for soiling (spoiling) us with all these extra vlogs!!! Appreciate the updates, and the information!!! Next, hopefully Leo's homecoming 🙏🥰🤩😘😘
There is always something to learn with every first. You guys dug in and steam rolled through the hard parts and are coming out victorious. This was a pleasant treat to see a vlog on Wednesday. Such a relaxing mode to the vlog except for the beam placement shots. I expect that things better with Leo, wishing him a much improved health situation. 🙌🏾👶🏻 See you on Friday!
I think it's fantastic you built our house. You got another dog, and have a baby. What a wonderful miracle. Someone is smiling down on you. A baby is a blessing and a gift
The video helps thru this difficult time. Prayers for baby with hopes he comes home soon.(at this age 87-building is fun to watch but not in future for me.)

Thanks for this midweek video we all are happy to see, but how is baby Leo I hope he is home or getting ready to do so. Best wishes to you all.
Saw it/heard it all before but, seeing Allie glow for 16 minutes was totally worth it.
Hug's!!!
He's already home. He was in her IG stories today.
I hope that baby Leo is OK and getting better. God is holding both in the palm of his hand. Stay safe. Walk in Peace and in the Lord's Love.
Happy holidays to all of you..🤗💞🙏
Praying for Leo!!!!!!
LOL Trent, you take man spreading to a whole new level. Thanks the great content and I hope Leo gets better soon.
Hope this finds Leo doing wonderful and ready to soon come home. 💜💜💜
I wear LL Bean and Eddie Bauer. I like warm and high quality clothing. Brandon is more valuable than Gold.
Trent starts new career as an L.L. Bean Model. Nails it!
Can't help it but the look reminds me of when in the film Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) copied Alec Baldwin's character's style of dressing.
Always so nice to see and hear from you both. I enjoy each and every video. Thank you for sharing your lives with me.
Can’t believe I’m sitting here in Melbourne Australia and looking at the same throw rug on the couch. Cool!
You guys are soiling us with 3 videos a week. Love you guys give that little guy Leo a kiss for me.
Would love to build your 10 million dollar project. Should look in to aircrete for affordable construction.
I hope Leo is okay and healing 💓 well.
It is obvious that the lofty principe of unfailing Love has stood you in you in good stead during both favorable and troublesome times
Sincerely,
TA
@Qefna Ija Sweetheart, no one is looking for sex on this channel. This is a clean family channel. Let's keep it that way. Don't sell yourself short. Turn to Jesus and let Him wash you clean and give you a bring new life. A life with purpose and genuine love. Don't you know how special you are to Him?! He loves you so much.
@@diamond-207 no point replying to them, they’re bots
@@diamond-207 You are responding to a bot about believeing in Jesus. Not like the latter is less abstractive than the first xD
@@Sabouma28 Ok, Thanks
You two have already experienced it, so have I in my motorcycle rides ..... the harder the GO, the sweeter the memories ! It has been awesome watching y'all progressing in building a wonderful family and abode. God bless !
Sending you warm wishes an abundance of love. Merry Christmas 🎅
Praying for Leo
These tips can be applied to any level of DIY projects. We started watching your channel a few months ago at the beginning of a bathroom renovation. So many times we channeled Trent's frustration or Allie's enthusiasm to get to the other side of a looming obstacle....and now my husband has lots of new tools too! Thanks for encouraging us to the finish line. P.S. we are 70somethings, so you young whippersnappers can do ANYTHING!
Love December youtube❤❤❤ , so many extra videos from all my favorite creators bc of the algorithms gotta make that extra cash lol
I love the tile work around the kitchen. We haven’t seen that in the episodes yet. Can’t wait to see this go up.
This year has been a LABOR of love , Allie , Leo, Trent and the house build.
Continued prayer for Leo. He is sooooo
Adorable. He deffinately took after your side of the family in his looks Allie,he couldn't go wrong either way, your both beautiful people.
Love the bonus video .Much love.
Allie's Mom energy is real. Two Wednesday in a row. The backsplash looks great.
I didn't see the backsplash. 😏 I guess maybe I'll catch it next time.
I have been following you for a long time, there are many times where I rejoice with you, when good things happen to you, and I also have felt sorry for you when bad or sad things happened to you, but the today's video was a great treat for me, you sure know how to wrap things up all the things you went through, in a great way, so thanks again for your video
The tiling in the kitchen looks great! Love getting the extra episode this week and last week!
Frank is EVERYTHING!!!!!
You can't just sit there and talk about the house Trent and Allie "from the future," when we are all dying and want to know, WHERE'S LITTLE LEO? :-) He's got to be on food and home by now? :-)
Brandon is a real man
I have literally been waiting all morning to see if you had a video and here it is BUT I wanted to know about BABY LEO!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! IN MY PRAYERS
Life certainly has its curve balls thrown at humans.....horrible thinking of the suffering of tornadoes that
devastated several south central states this past week!
Can't stop thinking about Leo. Hope all is well for all 3 of you.
Nice to see you two in a Wednesday! Delighted little Leo is able to be home! Allie, you are a shining example of “the glass half full”
There is always something to learn with every first. You guys dug in and steam rolled through the hard parts and are coming out victorious. You can be proud of yourselves, and the best build is that little nugget. Hugs all around including the pups, and a special one for Leo........and one for Brandon too. He's the best.
Hello Trent and Allie how is Leo doing
The video helps thru this difficult time. Prayers for baby with hopes he comes home soon.(at this age 87-building is fun to watch but not in future for me.)
